i know im going to moan and groan about this. but im sick of the chocolate drives sick of reaching hand in pocket. but i still do

why/ because i feel for the people.

i just drove home from work got into my drive and saw 2 doors down a mother with her daughter and a box. i knew what that meant!

i usually buy at work but no sooner one box is finished another appears!

well i thought about saying no but i told myself that mother and daughter were putting a lot of effort into this.

after all they didnt live in my street. so i had money still in my pocket, as i had just stopped by on the way home to buy bread from the bakery.

when i got in the door i gave my "boys their freddo frog.

my boys being hubby and our 27 year old . our youngest son was at uni then soccer training.

i know fund raising is a good cause but there are far too many to even keep up

I know what you mean, I am not a huge chocolate fan, but those kids faces when they come to your door with those pleading faces I can't resist, but the rest of my chocolate freak family eat them all lol xx

yep they are so sweet and come to think of it when we were young we used to collect"eggs " for the hospital easter appeal or money. there were so many kind hearted women (mostly mothers) donating to us and we didnt even know them

even though it wasnt for us and it was for a good cause i still remember how kind and generous they were .

Hi Annie.... freddo frogs are sooo good! Great things in fact! Janice brought me some! Janice and Steve left yesterday.... I'm sad. But I am so thankful for the last two weeks!!!!

freddo frogs are so yummy especially strawberry and peppermint

now you and dan will have to save and come to australia and then you will get to see janice again and eat all the freddos you want

I'm like this too! I'm a sucker for chocolate no matter what, altho if I don't have the money handy I'll say no.

Last time the school did a drive, we ate it all too!!

You need to be more assertive and learn to say no not today thank you.. I know we have a limit in my household now being that i have 3 kids at school , we buy one box for the family as i feel that my friends and family have enough expense to have to feel obligated to buy from my kids all the time.. and It works out well for us all, especially me hehe..

i dont mean to stop altogether but i do need to limit it!

Tell them that you will buy it when they start bringing round Fairtrade Chocolate - you can get it for fund raisers. That way you take the pressure off yourself and they push back to make the world a better place.

Hi Annie, most chocolate that we eat is

not fair trade.

.. However, you can encourage schools and other clubs etc. to source

fair trade chocolate

for their fund raising.

we dont do chocie at our school. atm se have ms readathon and spellathon. i wont be doning spellathon cause i cant afford both. charlie will get it though as they are doning puzzless instead. (they both have 1 each) i dont buy the choc's either as we never have change on us.

i am a sucker for them but i wish they come up with other ideas1 i know they sell well but im trying not to eat chockies!!!

maybe they should have a discount booklet for charity or something i dont know what the solution is!!!

when ny kids were young their swimming club sold toberone they never did make it out of our house!!

they were so addictive at night after work and dinner and household chores i would have the box there with the intention of taking them to work to sell but i would eat one then two until i ate the whole box!!!

this is a true story so i would end up buying them!! now if im not mistaken i sold 3 boxes very addictive and they didnt evenmake it beyond me!!!
