its wet outside here in melbourne but i still have that wonderful feeling .

spring just makes me come alive. countdown 7 days to go ............(our wedding anniversary 9th september).

im leaving on the 8th and coming back to melbourne on th 10th

29 years where have they gone?

i will be driving up in my own car because hubby is working up there . i will have the days to myself so i can do some sightseeing it looks like it will be yarrawonga. i havent been there for years. interesting to see if there are any changes after all theses years

i will keep you all informed.

just got in from work its a little wet but there is something about spring that doesnt dampen my mood even when its raining

Have fun in Yarrawonga, lucky you, I want to come, my sis & nephew & niece are in mulwala!

Well apart from having KFC & McDonalds, Yarrawonga really hasnt changed. The ski club & Club Mulwala have great meals at great prices & club mulwala have all you can eat chinese on a thursday night.

I think the pub Dannii is talking about is the http://www.ettamogah.com/pAlbury.html ettamogah pub in Albury, about an hour from Yarrawonga.

oh my goodness ! thanks for that blog i used to by "the post' back in the 80s for the giant croddword i used to do that in the train

they used to have a segemnt page with that photo and that pub, i think it was about pub jokes yes thats a very famous pub!

Hey Annie,

Well looking outside here i can see some blue sky lol, so maybe it wont be raining today, i hope not anyway cos i wana go out!! Its still very early so who knows what kind of day its gonna be.

I hope you have a fantastic time away. I havnt been to yarrawonga since i was 6. I do remembr it was a beautiful place. I cant remembr the name but we stayed in an apartment type house. There is a big lake and at the front their was a kids pool witha n elephant slide and a little front service desk where you could borrow games lol, goash a have a good memory and now i wanna go back there.

Im not sure if its the same place but there was this really cool pub i went to years ago. Its started with E and had a long name. They have a cocki there and they also had this machine when you put a $2 coin in it squashed it into a token type thing.. Lol, im going crazy now, i wanna go there!!

i will look out for the pub . as long as it hasnt changed hands and the owner has changed the name on us. otherwise pubs are one thing that never move. they are as old as the towns themselves.

i remember driving through little towns with only a handful of houses and they mighten have had all the shops but they always had a pub!

country people are nice and the pace is slower . i need a slow pace as ive been going "full on"

im going to rye on my own i have taken tomorrow off . i finish work 8.30pm tonight and its a good hours drive so depending on the weather i wouldnt mind going tonight

we have our holiday home there. i dont need to get back til thursday morning.

i hope it doesnt rain because i love strolling along the beach with my feet in the shallows. the water would be cold but its a tingling feeling and it gets the circulation moving. not that i need that my blood circulation iis magnificent.

i can go around with open shoes no socks in the middle of winter!

the sky is grey here but the sun is trying to break through. i hope the rain holds out for you even if its for a few hours

The pub is called something like emalunga or something, its really old and it would still be there now, its a very popular pub to visit..

Its beautiful here now YAY, The sun is shining through all my windows.
