tomorrow is the first day of spring or autumn depending on which part of the world you're in.

therefore today we kiss goodbye our winter or summer again depending on which part of the world you're in

in melbourne it doesnt matter because even though its the last day of summer it feels like winter!!!

us melbournians have a great sence of humour with our weather because we really do get the four seasons in one day!!!!

whats with the easter eggs we no sooner finished with christmas and shops started selling easter eggs and hot cross buns

whats happening to our society? these products are meant to be special for easter. why would you want to buy chocolate from now? especially in australia where its so hot

are shops just getting so greedy? the temptation is there to buy and"eat " before easter.

am i the only one that thinks shops are overdoing it?

just spent the weekend in bendigo. i cancelled work for friday and saturday (im a casual so im able to do that ) and i went with my son to a soccer (football ) tournament which he was coaching.

my son got selected out of one hundred coaches 24 were selected for future overseas tournament which will be held in july of this year. it looks like it will be held in the states (united states)

my hubby who i hadnt seen since thursday (and only then very briefly) was able to drive after work on saturday to bendigo and spend saturday night with me) he had to get up at 4 in the morning so he could get back to his work dstination which was also country victoria. he was exhausted but im glad he did that for me as we do try to get around situations to spend a little time together

im exhausted but i cant complain my son did all the driving ane he got up at 6 am and be on the soccer field all day for the tournament and then freshen up go the presentation and then he kicked back and socialized with the parents and other coaches.

even though i had been to bendigo before i had only caught glimpse of it as i had been either driving through or working there for a couple of days and far too exhausted to look around. lots of restaurents and hotels and it was pleasant

on the way back we drove to williamstown. i grew up there and went to the high school there. we drove through the strand and went through the back beach . plenty of cars there they were having the australian high speed boat race going on and they also had the arts and craft market next to the docklands.

we then drove to williamstown beach before visiting the cemetary where my dad is buried

i am  now relaxing . the weather was glorious so i cant complain

i am well just letting my friends know for some reason i havent been able to log on today in desperation i just kept login about 4 or 5 times repeatedly until for some reson it finally accepted it

i hope the problem gets rectified because it is a problem that i havent experienced before today, and im not able to add any comments until this moment i can see others have been able to add comments so it doesnt appear to be widespread but if i drop out then its likely that i cant get in again

it is frustrating i am able to read the comments but not the croups i belong to so sorry if it appears that i havent popped in

hi everyone we are going to a wedding today!!! my  son's friend is getting married but since they have been friends since high school and went to uni together they are like family. they also live locally and both my boys play indoor soccer together and are "gym buddies"

at least the sun is out. its only going to reach 23 with a southerly wind and a few showers forecast for morn and clearing. at least the weather is a bit better than the last few days!!! its like we are having a cold snap. it doesnt feel like summer

i hope it goes well though for the bride's sake!!!

the church is in richmond and the reception is at northcote . grooms side all live on south east side though and thats where we are. so a little travelling to do.

it should be great though. greek weddings usually are the music and "glendi " is always great!!!

resuers found an 11 month old baby boy alive in long tall grass after tornados had ripped through the area.  it was dark and wet and the resuers had already  combed through the area once. when the rescuer found the baby boy he was  face down

at first the rescuers thought it was a doll ! the boy was alive unfortunately the toddlers mother 23 years of age died in the tornado. the united states had a whopping amount (i cant remember but on top pf my head i think about 60 ) tornados around the united states the death toll has reached in the 50s .

the little boy is okay except for scratches on his face. it must have been rather traumatic though because rescuers say when they found him he was wet and cold and in only a tshirt and a nappy. he also just had a blank look on his face

its  a miracle though that they went through the area again!!!
