well its finally around the corner tomorrow is spring here in australia!
officially just over 10 hours away!
wow my hybernation is over i have a list ofthings to do and evenif i achieve half of these things i will be happy.
first and foremost i am going to be working less hours. lately i have been working straight through including weekends .
produtivity is so high as temps are brought in to help with the workload . this concept was introduced by the new boss and whilst it seems to work from the managerial side of things all this does is put the rest of us under pressure. i know this happens across the board in lots of employment but when all things considered the tax the extra stress the health of my body well at theend the extra hours are just not worth it.
also minti is going to take a backseat to. i will still respond and write to my friends because i love you all
i want to start doing things that have been on my long term list.
i have already started by having wednesday off. im going to rye for the day . i might stay for the night i will see .
just me and my holiday house . i have lots of books there and old issues of take 5 and thats life that i can look through.
i might go for a little drive to sorrento. check out a coffee shop or walk along the pier . if im game enough i might walk in the shallows of the water along rye. let my feet sink in the wet sand
now that i have a brand new car thats reliable i can "escape" on a weekly basis. hubby was the one that suggested it because he has been working country victoria and i get to see him weekly or so.
he is the one thats urging me not to "kill myself" at work when hubby is making extra through perks. hubby wanst me to spend more time with the "boys" even if they are adults they still want to chat about their day.
i get carried away to the point of exhaustion but the more i make the more tax i pay so i think its time i broke the vicious cycle.
yes im taking my own advice and im taking the time to "smell the roses" hubby and i had such a wonderful time 3 years ago when we went to europe and the greek islands for 3 months. we both vowed then and there that we would take it easier and relax more.
somehow we just fell back into our old routine without even meaning to.
i am the only one that can break my own cycle. sothe first step is wednesday.
then i have sunday the 7th of september off for fathers day and its our anniversary on the 9th so im going to have at least 3 days off on monday the 8th im actually going up to yarrawonga or shepparton where hubby will be and spend 2 or 3 days there.
hubby will be woking during the day but i will either watch dvds inthe motel and just roll around or go for a drive.
nights are no problems i will have hubbys company
not much blossom around this year usually it comes earlier but my neighbours plum tree has a little pink blossom his other fruit tree has white blossom
have a happy spring to all in australia and new zealand . to the rest of minti canada england usa enjoy your fall (autumn)
cheers annie
