i appreciate the fact that minti requires advertising in order to keep the site up and running, and most of the ads have been fine, but that one. woah! 

No, I wasn't intending to leave because of the ad.  I had found a way to ignore it, but it also meant ignoring msn, because my volume was off!  Oops to those who tried to chat! LOL. 

I am, however, spending a lot of time sorting this house out, which is the new reason for my absense! LOL  Our garage is starting to look bare, and the house a little fuller!

 We have removed the video/sound ad for all members who are Logged In - I hope this improves your opinion of our advertising (which is crucial to keeping this site free for all)

Has it been removed? I have FF (though not the latest version) and it was constantly coming on of its own accord.

I don't get that Annoying Ad. Is it because I stick to Firefox?

TOTALLY agree with you! they are driving me nuts!

ive cut my minti time down to five mins max lately because of them! I keep my volume on because i listen to music from my computer and the NOISE they make is appaling!

 I totally agree especially in my homepage & blog......I was typing away yesterday leaving a comment, cursor no where near the top, volume up, nearly jumped out of my seat when this loud noise started bellowing.

Don't like knowing that your not around because of this, hope something can be done.....and that your headache eases.

Uhm ! What pop up adds? I keep hearing about these , why are some folks getting them and some not? I still get the white google ads box at the top and the side, but none of this animated all singing all dancing rubbish.

I feel for you, I have come across them on other sites and quickly leave, like wooooooosh gone, can't be doing with that nonsense,LOL.

O.K asked Hubby and he said switch on explorer, so I did and Ouch Arna, poor you, poor all that have that to put up with that. I switched explorer off asap.

I am sticking firmly to Firefox version 10 billion point six or whatever they are up to know, rofl.

Good luck with your mission to bring peace and calm back to minti, two seconds of that nonsense was enough for me.

I complained about these in your group Bulletin and you need not roll over them, anywhere near your bar and off they go, and go, and go!!!!!!!! Argggg, and here I thought it was something I was doing!
