arna you are one brave women i go wake kenny when i hear things like that and make him look i am to scared . i wont even put rubbish in the bin with out kenny comming with me. we have the helicopter alot as we have massive paddocks around us . hope you saw what it was

i would have woken hubby to go out i would have been to scared .

but i know what you mean! before we knocked down our house to build our bedroom was in the front and i sleep with blinds open. anyway at 4.00am i woke to sirens and the red light of the fire brigade flashing in our room .

the firebrigade had stopped in front of our house im a light sleeper so i woke snd thought our house must be on fire!!! im shaking my husband awake telling him our house was on fire. poor hubby he is a heavier sleeper.

he got a bigger start than me. it turns out it was 4 doors down the wman used to smoke in brd and her room caught alight so she called the fire brigade,

meanwhile all the neighbours had awoken and at the time i had a brick fence so all the neighbours were sitting on our fence us included all in our dressing gowns awaiting the outcome.

so i do know how you feel about this. but its harder not knowing what the problem was .

I wouldn't be able to resist. This reminds me of a night at my friends place. She lived across from a park. Picture a chopper overhead and roughly 3 cop cars. At first we couldn't really make out what was going on.Then in a split second, we notice a guy running, cops all with guns, shouting and watching an arrest. All very exciting! It was just then we also noticed the light was behind us and we were highly visible. Needless to say, that light got turned off asap LOL

If there is no police cars i doubt its for a robber or something, maybe someone is really injured and escaped or even like a mental person??? keep your house locked up just incase!!

Ah the back aches, dont they just drive you mad!! My back has been killing for weeks but the last week has been a constant backache that never goes away. Hot showers do calm it down tho and ill always have one when i get up and right before i go to bed. I hate it tho cos your nice and relaxed in the shower and then as soon as you get back out the aching starts again ggrrrrrr....

Hope your back gets better and you find out what all the fuss was about with the helicopter!

hehe i love the "overgrown mosquito"!!! How exciting.... not much happens around here either. There was one night where we had a helicopter hovering over head and we were all wondering what was going on. They had the spotlight searching the bushes and everything. We all kept indoors just to be on the safe side. We woke up the next day to find out it was just the electricity company checking powerlines lol!!! It's not the most exciting town.....
