The final group of pictures! These continue from here. Personally, I think these are best at showing how much water was around.
I got smart here and grabbed the umberella. Standing on the footpath outside our house, you can clearly see the incredibly full floodway and the waterfall flowing into it from higher placed streets.

I had problems getting video to embed here, so Les tried on his site. No luck for him either. YouTube it was to be, but at least one is up.
Coolayla is Les’ blog was supposed to be about our local area, but as not much happens here, it seems to have expanded to general tourism. Note to self: Keep up with husbands sites!!! There are posts with pics of the 1992 floods there too (not our images as we weren’t here then). They say things are going to be as bad or possibly even worse than back then.
Following on from here, we get to some even better pictures.
Laying on the ground of our garage, I was able to get these next 3 images. You can see the drops bouncing in the foreground. You can also see the water running down the driveway and the road.
I missed the car by a split second, but you can still see the spray it left on passing. You can also see the dancing rain drops – just beautiful!
