I am mother to an only child. She is 6 years old. We have chosen to have only one, even at a young age due to many reasons. I am 27 years old. I am nearly done my Special Needs Educational Assistant program and am currently working as an Educational Assistant in a Kindergarten class.
My husband works a technical support and laborer for a Satellite phone company. His dream job is to work in the prison system. I don't understand it, but I support his dream. Hopefully in 2009 he will have this as a reality.
I am a mitlitant about living more ecologically friendly lifestyle. I try to cut down on waste wherever I can. It drives my husband to distraction.
I am the founder of my local Freecycle group in Red Deer, AB, Canada. We are 4000+ members 4 years into the journey and many many items saved from the landfill. It's a frustrating job but rewarding. And it also helps me to cut down on wastefulness in our house.
I enjoy writing, but as of yet have not made any money at it. I love computers. I love the internet. I am a total geek. I am a total dork.
