My boys are at there dads this week so it is very quiet here at the moment. My dad had a small operation yesterday to reverse his stoma. It all went well I am told and he should be home by the weekend. He was one of the lucky ones that had a temperary bag and they are able to reverse it now all his treatment is over. Last christmas he was very sick and it has been a tough year for him health wise so I am crossing my fingers by this christmas he will be back to full health again. Anyway I am off to work soon, just had to share that news and sending my dad alll the positive vibes I can to get better real fast!

Finally Nik fixed the computer yesterday. I am not at home though I am at my boyfriends and his laptop just had a fit about opening a gift so I better stick to a short blog and a look around. Don't want to wreck anything. Any technology I put my hands to. Freaking me out now. I am so sick of looking at cars. I been on the car site and heaps and heaps of car yards and still don't know how much longer it will be before I know what I want. Nik turns 16 next week too so more driving lessons in the near future. The long weekend just gone was so nice. The weather was beautiful and I had Mark here for the week, he just went back to his dad's yesterday and we took all the kids for a cruise on a boat up the river. Kiza didn't come, he went to the royal show with his mates. He has got a girlfriend now that visits and really nice to have a girl around. She is doing a hairdressing apprentiship and asked if she could practice on me and spent some of Saturday doing my hair when Kiza was at the show. They hold hands and snuggle on the couch watching movies. How sweet. Anyway Nik and Kiza are at there dad's this weekend so we are looking at cars but will be a few weeks before I get one I think. So off for a little browse and back to car hunting.

Just adding some pictures now that I am back home on the computer from when we were out on the boat. Forgot to say that Kiza got himself a Xbox 360 with his tax return as well as going to the royal show. It had 2 guitars and a game called guitar heros 2. They have had so much fun and I did try to verse them but boy they are good. How do kids pick this stuff up so easily?

I will try to get back to you all but thank you very much. Was such a nice surprise. I will try to send some myself later in the week. I have lost my voice almost at the moment. I don't feel bad or anything just started with coughing, then by the end of the weekend I get this sexy voice. LOL The boys are cracking up at my laugh. Like that little cartoon dog. LOL We went to a wedding on Sunday. It was such a nice wedding. Beautiful couple and beautiful friends. There was only about 25 to 30 people but it was a lovely day. We were supposed to go on a boat to Penguin Island but it was too rough and they wouldn't let them go so they were so disappointed but we had the ceremony in the park instead . It was a bit windy which wouldn't have helped the throat. Then we had a nice meal at a lovely restaurant. The wedding cake was from Miss Mauds, so creamy, and the bride is so creative. She made everything on the table. The centrepieces out of vines and everything in a shell theme because of the boat out of all the shells they collected from around Australia on there trip. Anyway, a lovely night and it is just business as usual here. Very busy at work. Hours have increased at the moment which is good as I am still saving for this car. Now I just need some time to buy it. LOL Have a great week everyone. I woke up so early today and so I am making the most of it getting a couple of loads of washing done. Must start getting ready for work now.

Just a tribute really to one of the best men in the world. Today my man was off doing a course in the city and my boys had gone to see their dad for the weekend so I took a little drive only about 40 minutes drive to my parents house. I bought him some scratchies though there was no luck there, but it was a nice day. He has had a fairly rough year. He is going through chemo at present and had a major operation where they have removed some of his bowel. He is still smiling though and getting on with his life. My brother came down too so it was just us 4 adults. Cold meat and salad for lunch and plenty of cups of tea and chatting. The boys cut the cockatoos wing and we threw the ball to the dog all afternoon. Dad gave us some vegetables from his garden. I don't know how they can get there garden so nice. We watered all the pot plants and flushed out the water feature too so we could see the fish. Anyway had a great day with such a loving, caring, amazing dad. I feel so lucky to have such wonderful parents. Hope everyone else had a great father's day!

Grrr! Arrived home from work and my letterbox had been set alight! How annoying is that! A few weeks ago it was the recycle bin and I pride myself on keeping my recycle stuff nice and clean. Anyway tomorrow I am going to go and get a P.O Box as letters have gone missing before. Probably kids but bloody annoying when you get a double bill because you missed the first etc. I was waiting on a tax bill too. Not something I really want but need to pay and don't need the interest on top! Anyhow that is my gripe for the day.

On the weekend we had a great time at Murray Lakes. It was not exactly the nicest day weather wise but that didn't stop the kids from using the spa and pool and even going out on the canoe. I watched from the shore, but did play tennis with them and also a game of snooker and some squash. So full on fun time. It was only my two youngest with us.

Work is still great, really loving it though very tiring. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Same old is going on here though that is good as all seems to be calm with the boys and work is getting good and looking more permanent. What can I say, they love me. LOL Tickets I know! Anyway something funny happened at work the other day. I guess a learning experience. We had done some painting and while I was helping the 2 year old to wash her hands in the basin the 1 year old twins have waddled in behind us and proceed to paddle in the toilet bowl! Can't turn your back for a moment. Had to laugh though once I cleaned them up. Well I guess they thought they were washing there hands!

Today I am doing a school pickup and working til 7pm so I am starting to enjoy Thursdays as I get all my washing done and my shopping in the morning. Bought easy heat for the boys tonight. I spoil them too much. They should be able to cook decent meals by now but I make it easy for them when I am not home to cook. This weekend we are going to Murray Lakes which the kids always enjoy. They have boats at the resort and pool and spa and sauna. The resort is being sold this year though so no more time shares there. Hope everyone else has a great weekend!

OK this is the advice I was just given from my doctor! What? I said OK til when? He is like this is what is triggering a condition I have on my face called Rosacea!!! So I guess that means indefinately??? Anybody else had this? I am in shock but really I should not be so wingy and winey as there are people on much stricter diets cause of allegies. Just had to get that out! What? No more wine or spicy food? Where is the fun in that? Anyway got cream and I am on antibiotics. I really thought it was just dry skin. So while I am here will blog if I can remember what has been going on around here.

Oh that's right on Saturday went to Sahara, an Indian restaurant and had dinner. Figures, I also met James last night after work and we went to a wine bar in Perth and chatted over a glass of vino. Now you know why I am upset. All these old habits must die. We have been invited to an engagement party this weekend too. Must go as this blog will just get me feeling sorry for myself. LOL Have a great day. I am only working a few hours today so must get dinner going and clean up this place. Why did I go to the doctors? LOL

I haven't really been blogging because it is always the same stuff here. I have just been trying to sort out my paperwork and everything and see how much money I have left over after paying tax etc, so that I can upgrade my car. It is on top of my list now and in a month or 2 time I hope to be able to show everyone a picture of my new car. I don't like the looking and purchasing part of it. I don't even know where to start but have been doing a little look around to see what I will be able to get for my money. It takes time to do all this. I'm going into work today and tomorrow at 2pm for a few hours too. The more hours the better now. Hope everyone has a great weekend. The boys are off to there dads for the weekend so we are going out to dinner tonight.

I went to the accountant yesterday so that is one relief though I need to pay more this year so I don't keep getting these bills. So annoying. After that Nik and I went shopping so I could get him some clothes. He got jeans then we went into the salvos to find a jacket. We got a whole suit for $15. He is starting to like the suit and tie. Definately wants to be an office man. So when Kiza came home I couldn't resist getting them to have a photo. My working man and my business man! Look at that!

Kiza is just getting over a really bad infection and I am up early looking for the cough syrup now. He had a whole week off work so I don't want it. Have a great weekend everyone!

I have been made feel welcome at the new job. Mum has already done a fantastic job as they are in a good routine so there is of course the very busy moments and I actually get an hour or so to sit around and be bored. Sometimes you want to go in and poke them. LOL You can really tell they are not my kids. Give me a couple of weeks. LOL All is good. The bath time is one thing that I am not completely happy with because on my own that is going to get tricky. I'm more concerned with safety and being that there is 3 kids under 3 years old. Mum has been around to help so far but Monday and Tuesday she will be working so I know that it will be completely different then. They are just in a change of routine so they are now all sleeping at the same time. I won't even attempt it if I don't feel safe enough. May even do the sponge bath! Do you think she will notice? LOL I do get them pretty messy during the day and they need to be in there pyjamas and ready for bed when I leave. Any suggestions welcome!

Today is a day off and I am going to book in to do my tax if I can. That will be one drama off my mind and then I will know if I am going to be able to buy a new car or if the tax man is going to take all my savings! I need to start being a bit smarter in that area. It is Niks day off today too. He is doing a full time course at TAFE and he gets 2 and a half days off a week. He can help me with the meal plans this week so that we can do the food shopping. Well thats my exciting day planned. LOL
