Break in

Comment Published at 06:1906:195 comments5 comments18 Visits18 VisitsReport
Had a bit of a vulnerable day today. Spent the day on the lounge as I have the flu but also yesterday after coming home from a day out someone had broken into my house. They have come in through the laundry and even used bolt cutters on the security screen. They took the x-box plus heaps of games, i-pod and mobile phone of my sons. I should be grateful noone was hurt but very upset as we have no insurance and we work very hard for the few things we have. Every time someone rang me up I would start blubbering. I rang work for some time off as I don't think I could handle being there tomorrow, plus homeswest will send someone to fix it in 48 hours they said and they didn't come today therefore I have no security tonight. Forensics came in today but found no finger prints. SUCKS. My son is sleeping downstairs with the cricket bat. Hate living in this slum sometimes.

Re: Break in
Thanks for that Jen because I can tell you it did take some pushing to get someone over and the only one to be able to come in an emergency was the glazier and then because they have caused so much damage to the frame and stuff he couldn't fix it so it was on the phone again and they ended up just boarding it up. That wasn't done to late afternoon so I wonder how long to secure it properly? Anyway feeling a bit better today, went to work even. The boys are playing basketball out the front now so they are even happier today.  Have a great day!

Thanks mate. Feeling a bit better today. Lucky nobody was hurt. I am so glad you guys didn't wake up. Some people are so desperate. There has been some violent attacks in our area lately, some with spear guns. They usually pay the price though so will keep positive. Don't want them to win.
