Having a quiet day

Comment Published at 19:3519:352 comments2 comments13 Visits13 VisitsReport

Well the repair man came out straight away when they heard about the glass and measured but because it is a special glass they couldn't do it so still waiting for them to come back. They didn't come yesterday so will probably come today. I have only been working 2 hours a day this week. I pick the little girl up from school and stick around for a couple hours to help shower etc. Today is early pick up so hope the guy comes soon. In the mean time I need to just get some work done. I can finally see the bottom of the laundry basket!

Nik will be doing some work experience on Thursday as a boilermaker. I will have to drop him off there. I went and had a chat to his teacher because he wouldn't go back to TAFE Friday after the bashing he got but they are all going to make him feel safe ther and he has agreed to go back and identify him as they rang the other teacher and if anything they said that the other boy should be expelled from there. So they are ringing TAFE as he only goes there one day and then he will be kept safe and if the boy is there he will be identified and it will be investigated. It is so good that they are helping. He wouldn't go there that day but the kids in his class that went said that everybody was talking about it, so the kid is bragging, therefore he will be easily caught.

Anyway the day is approaching and I am getting nervous. I am not allowed to get sick yet everyone around me is getting colds and flus. What is going to happen if I get it before the day? The letter on my fridge says I can not come in for the operation with a cold or flu. Just another worry. Have been trying to eat really healthy and stay warm. Anyway no more news which means it is good news. I only like peace in my life.

Dear Lynette,

My friend i want to wish you all the very best for your up and coming operation and that you stay healthy so nothing stops you from having it, my deepest thoughts are with you.

Waiting around for things to happen is so maddening and a waste of time, do hope they come today to  replace the glass.

Nice to hear that Nik is getting some work experience, good for him. I'm so sorry to hear what happened to him, being bashed, how awful, gee there is some horrible types out there....makes you wonder what type of family they come from. Pleased to hear that something will be done about this character and that Nik can go back to Tafe feeling safe....hope it is sorted out real soon.

Take care my friend.

Love Janice xxxxx
