My son had a night footy match

Comment Published at 07:3307:336 comments6 comments15 Visits15 VisitsReport

Have only just got home and it was freezing out there. The things we do for our kids hey? The older he gets, the longer his games last. So now the games go for nearly 2 hours since he is in 17s. Gosh it is like the AFL but of course the AFL players make the game look easy in comparison. LOL Oh and they were beaten. Oh well!

Had a nice day today. First day back with the twins and had been saving up some goodies in a bag plus the dollys clothes that I made they liked and dressed there dollies up too. They had a sale on the craft section at red dot. Everything half price and they are already cheap so got lots of goodies and so we were busy all day.

Kiza has gone out with his mates now after the game and so it is Nik and me tonight. He is picking him up tomorrow to go to their dads. Scary that he is out on the town now. Now he has his own money and car all I can do is lecture and hope he does the right thing. He drove off with 3 of his mates and they are staying over one of their houses. He pays me his board though, every week plus 20 which he normally needs to lend by the end of the week. So he still needs to learn how to stretch it.

Hi honey,

The thinks we do for our kids ! ! ! But in all honesty we wouldn't have it any other way! ! ! You are doing a great job and this you already know as you are a great mum, you can see the love and respect jumping off the page . .

Perhaps next night match you go to you should take a blanket and a thermos . .  lol

Cheers Kellz

I've spent time on the freezing side lines LOL Yes, the things we do...

Kiza will be fine, they have to grow up even when we wish they wouldn't. Be proud of the great job you've done!!!!

I will but I don't think sleeping was what the boys were planning to do when they drove off. A good night for me will not be getting any bad news through the night, if you know what I mean! Worry wart mum you could call me! LOL
