Yesterday we went to the shops. Crazy or what. We drove around for ages to find a car park. We did a bit of shopping but the lines and people were amazing. I bought some bathers as we are going to go swimming today. The pool will probably be very busy too since it is so hot but we are going to tackle it. We had lunch in the shopping centre. We went to a cafe and it wasn't cheap nor was the wait short but the lines to McDonalds wasn't worth tackling. We spotted an empty table and grabbed it. It was very nice though and would beat Maccas any day. Now my new years resolution is to stop spending so much money, especially on getting food while out. I am bad for it.

Well Christmas eve and day were very relaxing. I had no kids with me so it didn't feel like Christmas. James kids don't celebrate so it was easy. We just enjoyed the holiday. It was really hot but we had the spas and pools at the resort plus for the hottest part of the day the rooms were air conditioned and we had some movies so it was living in luxury. I'm back home now sweating, and it's only morning so now need to get used to it. lol

On Boxing day I was at my mum's house. The kids came down on the train about lunch time. It worked out well. Wehad cold meats and salads for lunch and dinner. Mum has air conditioner too so we stayed inside til 5.30 then took the kids down the beach to play basketball and Mark and I swam. We swam out to the jump board. It was so nice. Mark seemed to stay in forever though. So we got home fairly late last night but it was a great Christmas and there are still more holidays to come. My brothers didn't get down so we are actually going back to my mums on Sunday for a bar-b with my brothers. Oh and mum gave my kids $50 each which they were happy about.

I so wanted to put up pictures of the kids on there pocket rockets today but it is not going to let me. Computers! Anyways we went and had some fun this afternoon on them. The kids are off to there dads tonight and I am off to the resort. It was so hot today so the motor bikes were not my first choice but it is the kids day. Now off to make dinner. One more shot to see if I can leave a photo. If not will do so another day.
No must leave this now before I chuck it against the wall. Grrr

Christmas can be hard in a split family but this is how we are doing it this year. Tonight I am having a quiet night on my own. I dropped my kids off at there grandpas, there dad's father. Tomorrow they come to me for the weekend. Then Monday they are catching the bus to there dad's and I am spending 24th and 25th with my boyfriend and his kids at the resort in Mandurah. I then go to my parents in Rockingham for Christmas night as James has to get his kids back then work the next day. My kids are catching the new train on boxing day. Thanks to transperth I no longer make the Mandurah to Wanneroo trip on Christmas day to ruin my whole day. Especially since it will be 38 degrees. Everything seems to be coming together and here is wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and happy new year and excited about the meet up on the 6th of January for the Perth Minti mums. I may have Mark with me or it may be my off week for the kids but I am still happy to go. Can't wait!

I think I really need them. I am lucky I have 2 weeks to clean up at the old house. I spent an hour there this arvo after work then Nik rings me cause he forgot his key. I could have done with more time and once I stopped I wasn't going back. Will do the rest sometime on the weekend. I just want to get it over so much then I can lock up and bring all the cleaning products back. Only a bit of mopping left and to rake up the back yard. So annoying.

I have 2 big boxes left and they are the worst. I am a procrastinator sometimes. They have the knick knacks and stuff that I could probably just chuck in the store room but they have to be gone through and I need a rest. It also has those important birth certificates and baby books and photos. I've opened the box heaps of times then just closed it again. I will leave to after christmas I think and throw in the store room. I will do this in the new year.

Today I was with the twins. Quite a fun day though the little girl through a massive tantrum over nothing much and she bit her brother when she was annoyed with him too later. She did say sorry when she calmed down though and then hugged him and rubbed cream on his leg. I only go over Wednesday and Friday now and on Wednesday sometimes they go all shy when they first see me. Next year I am only going one day so wonder what that will be like. After 2 weeks holiday they may not know me. lol

Thanks for all the kind thoughts for the 15 year old that I look after. It is obviously a wish she makes a lot but she does know it can't come true. She actually told me yesterday she was happy, even if she couldn't walk. Maybe she was worried that I was sad. She is very caring. She asked me if I was happy being me as she is happy being herself. She asked me a lot of questions about Jesus and wanted to know if Santa was his helper. I said no Santa has Elfs Jesus has Apostles but I can't tell you much more about this as I am not religious. Hope everyone has a great day.

When I got to work today after dressing, feeding and brushing the 15 year old little girl I look after she was very excited as she had been waiting for me as she wanted me to help her write to santa. I have to hold her hand as they don't work too well. I also have to dress and feed her so you can imagine how limited it is for her. Anyways, all she wanted to write was that she wanted to be able to walk without anyone to help her. She wrote in capital letters -  COULD YOU MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE. She has a big smile. What is going to happen to that gorgeous smile after christmas. When her mum came home later she asked me what she was so desperate to write. I said don't read it or you will cry. She said I know, I can guess what she wants. I was a bit sad.

Anyway I have nearly finished unpacking and all looks like a house again. My boys have gone out and bought themselves some pocket rockets. I know dangerous little things but we do take them out to ride them in safe places. They are learning some basic mechanics and stuff through that. Actually the other day my idle was stuck really high and the mechanic had no time to look at it but my son fixed the problem for me. It may have been a simple problem but I was happy and he was very proud and happy.

I hope everybody can get what they want from Santa this year. Just all stay safe! xx

Well I am in. The removalists came on Tuesday and that was so good having someone else do the bulk of it but it hasn't all been smooth sailing. They actually managed to knock the brick letter box down on the way out though but it is in a bad spot. The phone and internet has taken ages to get connected back and actually the home phone is still not working so I have to wait til after the weekend. I just got back from the old house and have nearly finished there. Still need to go back tomorrow.

Kitchen is done now and about to do all the bookcases in the lounge, then I can get into getting my room as I want it. This could take all night. Can't stay on very long tonight but hope everyone is well. Shall scoot around and try to see how everyone is. I noticed Arna has her husband on now and Janice is visiting Margir next year. How exciting. Will try to scoot around for a while then must get something done here.
