I recently came across this ebay like site - My Hire Site - http://www.myhiresite.com.au - for hiring stuff. Its like ebay, except that things are hired instead of purchased.

"Why should I spend $280 on a drill, when surely someone or a business in my local neighbourhood has a drill that I could pay a reasonable fee to hire for the day?"   With that simple question, the idea for My Hire Site seems to have come about.
