Well the Dr was pretty unhelpful today about JB not eating properly. He did not address the eating at all, just showed concern as JB is now on the 5th percentile for his weight, he was on the 25th percentile so he has dropped a lot. The only thing the Dr recommended was to give him pediasure!! I am not really happy with this as hubby just bought some and the second ingredient is sugar!!
JB eats a lot of fruit and veg (just mush!!) so i am sure he is getting all he needs nutritionally. We also had a blood test to check for thyroid problem, and we now have to go back weekly and get him weighed. |

I really am at the end of my tether now with JB and his eating... he seems to have gone backwards and is now gagging and throwing up at every meal! I cannot understand why he cannot eat foods! I know I have to think of the positives and how far he has come, yet it is so frustrating when you feed him fish one day he eats it all and does so well, a couple of days later you try it again and he refuses to eat it and then throws up what little he does eat!
I feel like I am forcing him to eat the solids he does eat and I am so worried that he will constantly have a bad relationship with foods as a result. I know there is nothing medically wrong, but it does not help me when he is constantly sick! Strangely enough he seems to have no problem with cookies.. except when he tries to put them in his mouth whole!
We have another Drs apt this week to check his weight etc so hopefully we will be able to get some help/advice from them! |

Ok I guess it is true to say I am a sugar addict. Yet again i am on a 'health kick' trying to loose the 30lbs needed to get me back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
My problem is I LOVE chocolate and biscuits, cookies, cakes, sweets/candy... Since Monday I have still been eating these items, but I have really been watching the contents for daily allowances and have cut down a lot. It has only been two days and already I have withdrawl symptoms.. I have headaches, am moody (more than usual ), I am constantly thinking about eating, thinking I could have just one more square of dairy milk it is only 1.9g of fat and 35 calories.. I am so shocked that sugar can have this affect on you. I am determined not to give up..

Generally I try not to get involved with the crap that happens on here.. but the whole copywright thing is really annoying!
Don't get me wrong... I am all to aware of the importance of copywright, I studied this for 3 years at Uni in terms of the legalities from a journalists point of view. However, if people actually looked at the convention most countries adopted, and look at case law the individual is the one making the breech...not minti. Minti has an adequate disclaimer and I am sure their lawyers have looked into this in great depth.
However, this is not my main problem, what really worries me is how a person is not allowed to make a mistake on here. I do not know Belinda, but it seems she made a mistake in thinking she had the right to use some information and posted it as (really good) advice. Apparently, mistakes are not allowed?!?!? I find this a very sad state of affairs.. if this is the values we hold, what are we teaching our children? If we come across something like this, why not just contact the person and ask them directly and work with them? Any copywright cases that are taken to court (very few cases) take years to get a hearing and resolved, a few e-mails before reporting is nothing in the scheme of things.
I really hope that we can start acting more like parents and coach and nurture others who make mistakes like we would with our wee ones! |

Words cannot express how I feel about the events of 9/11 and the cowards that executed the attacks and changed our world as we know it. To everyone that lost a husband, wife, son, daughter, friend or colleague my thoughts are with you. |

JB now looks like a little boy, all his wispy bits on the sides have gone and his curls have been removed at the back. It was a battle with hubby for me to do it but we have got through the first haircut fairly smoothly! And he looks soooo sweet
