I joined Minti ages ago but life has just been overwelming and I am just updating this now in Nov 2008.

I hope to be more involved in the upcoming months but need a bit to get myself organized yet.

I have two teenage boys and have been a single parent for most of my life.  My boys are wonderful and we are very close even now at 21 and 19.  My youngest has had a girlfreind in 2006 and her family and herself were a major part of my family.

Since my Ben's (my youngest) breakup 2 years ago with his girlfriend he has gone onto College and has one honors diploma as a Veteranary Assistant and still looking as more courses.

I now have a second family with my boyfriend, two girls 23 and 19 so it is fun the differences between girls and boys and also the way we have raised these wonderful kids.  My boyfriend has been a widow for 10 years now.

Adam and Ben bowl on a 5 pin bowling league, and Ben voluntees with the peewees (5 year old) bowlers teaching them bowling skills. 

So with lots of young adults around the house we should have lots to talk about.

Adam has Social Anxiety Disorder diagnosed in 2006 so he is battling that.

All the kids but Erika, live on their own.  Erika is staying with us as we are helping her to buy her house.

Have been through tough times but the kids have always been there to assist which is great.
