Goooooooood Mooooooooooorning Minti, well its the first of the month so i just have to say " a pinch and a punch its the first of the month a kick and a slap you can't do it back " we used to love doing that as kids, somewhere along the way we grew up and stopped having so much fun which is a shame. Sometimes i think we need to be more kid like sometimes i still act like a kid which doesn't impress my motther at all trying very hard not to laugh she screws her nose up at me and tells me to grow up lol. So its another wonderful day here in sunny Queensland and christmas is comming up so quickly, i for 1 have completed my christmas shopping ( i tend to buy small things i think people would like during the year) there is nothing worse than last minute christmas shopping with people all running to shopping malls and getting nasty if you grab something they were just about to pick up. Nooooo thank-you the only time i go there this close to christmas is to get the kids photo's done with santa otherwise i stay right away from them lol. Well this is my first blog on a friday so i thought i would add a picture that i think is quite cute its also funny because we had to sneak it and every time someone came we had to say quick quick get down lol, the story behind it goes like this John my hubby had to work schoolies on the Goldcoast so rather than stay away from him (we live in brisbane which is about  1 hour drive) we thought we would go down for the weekend, as john was working nights and sleeping all day the kids and i would go to the beach swim in the pool or play in the games room. But this one day we saw the police cars parked in the garage and decided this was a once in a lifetime opportunity so i quickly put the girls on the police car and told them to smile it took us a few goes because there were people walking in and out of the garage, but alas finally we got the snap shot lol. When we showed their daddy he just laughed at the trouble we went to to get the picture haha. Have a great weekend everyone.

Best Wishes Blond.

Over it!!!

Is anyone else over the fact that their childcare centre keeps losing your childrens clothes??? They told us to label everything so i did and i don't dress them in good clothing anymore as it comes home with paint or other dirt on it. I have even gone as far as supplying an art smoch in my girls bags. But the last straw came when i bought miss 3 a pair of girly board shorts which she loved they had her name on the inside and the kindy lost them, this is the 2nd week they still can't find them so i then informed them that i would be billing them for the shorts, bugger it i've had enough. I always pay my fees on time i give the centre things we don't use anymore ie- couch clothes etc why should we be treated like this and you'd think if your kid came home with clothes that don't belong to them that you would send them back ( i do anyway) not in this case. Am i just being a typical mum?? i'd like to hear what you guys think.

When is it enough????

by Blond-Wild-ChildComment Published at 04:5704:570 comments0 comments60 Visits60 VisitsReport
So the saga continues, there seems to be the most tiny small brain wave and because of that the Dr's cannot ( for fear of getting sued ) turn off the life support machines. I think personly it is very cruel to the family waiting for someone to pass away. But sadly this is the australian law there is basicly no brain movement at all but just a small brain wave is enough for the Dr's to say there may still be a chance we'll give it a few more days. The patient in the meantime looks nothing like they used to as they retain alot of body fluids which blows them up, they become very swollen all over and for the family to see this is to say the least horrible. But the Dr's must do everything possible to make sure the person really won't survive. Its all a waiting game but really when is it enough?.

Suicide

by Blond-Wild-ChildComment Published at 02:0002:005 comments5 comments157 Visits157 VisitsReport

Suicide it sux, i know at the time most people are not thinking of their family when they decide to end their life. So many people have asked time and time again why? sometimes you get the answers but most the time you don't, how do i know this? 2 yrs ago a family member who i thought was quite happy shot himself why? he had a house was a Volunteer firefighter a fulltime job and seem to be doing ok, well we still aren't any closer to finding out any answers. But when you try and commit suicide and fail to a certain degree then it only makes the family suffer more, tonight i sit here very sad as 1 of my best friends told me on the weekend that her hubby's mum tried to commit suicide and failed, her heart and her brain however has been starved of oxygen so she is in a coma from which she will never wake up, tomorrow they turn her machines off and say their goodbyes. What makes someone do something so awful, in a way i think it is very selfish to put so many family members through that much pain, but as i said above i don't think they think of the other members of their families if they only knew how much pain they go through i can only asume all they think of is finally finding piece.

**I'm just getting this off my chest.  If anyone  finds this offensive please let me me know and i shall remove it immediately.

**this is only my opinon and not based on fact.

B.B.Q. Lunch

by Blond-Wild-ChildComment Published at 03:5903:592 comments2 comments126 Visits126 VisitsReport
I had planned a b.b.q lunch today and asked a few friends around. I just hate the way people turn up when they are ready, i asked everyone to be at our house by 11,30am so we could start cooking around 12.15pm but no some of my friends turn up at 12.30 and 1 pm ( which by that time we had already started cooking). as we told everyone we like to put the girls down to sleep by about 2pm no such luck haha we all kicked on till 4pm which was fun, but some of my invited friends didn't even turn up which i thought was pretty rude. When we used to have parties in Melbourne we had people turn up on your doorstep and say i brought a friend hope you don't mind and we would laugh and say c'mon in the more the merrier, But it seem not to work this way in Qld. We invited 15 to 20 friends and 1/2 of them didn't bother to rsvp, ring or anything, so i wan't going to stress about it we had great fun with the ones who did turn up and even the ones who turned up late.
