No matter what else is going on in my head, one look at StinkyButt and my day's work issues suddenly become irrelevant... Before becoming a dad I never could have imagined this kind of love I feel for my little girl...

Last nite was rough. Poor lil StinkyButt has a head cold and was up from 1:30-3:30 am crying...non-stop. Even though there were times I was so close to going outside to sleep in the hammock I handled the situation better that I thought considering this was the longest she's ever kept us up in 10 months.... I know to most this may sound frivalous but the MRS and I have been blessed with a relatively fuss-free child so my propz go out those that battle this sort of thing every night...

Little StinkyButt is going to be 10 months old soon and I want to her to have a little brother or sister to play with... ideally the maximum age would be 2.5 years... now in a perfect world this would all work out but my parents tried for a long time to have me and by the time they did there was a four year gap between my older brother and I ....Even though it doesn't make a difference now, it made a huge difference growing up... I was too young to hang out with him and his friends...although there were common interests, generally speaking there was a generation gap and I ended up being much closer to my cousin who was 2 years younger.

The topic is a touchy one with the MRS.... even though she agrees on the 2.5 year gap, she's not ready to even begin thinking about another kid... Funny cuz while on one hand I understand her, on the other hand I'm lying on the sofa imagining 3 little tykes running around the lounge room and me being Proud Poppa...
