Huggalugs: Leg Huggers / Arm Huggers

I think these are awesome! very handy when out and about. The same product is used on both the arms and the legs. One size fits most from birth to big kids up to the thigh. Easy to pull on under or over pants or skirts. Handy for quick weather or temperature changes- so easy to slip on arms and legs even with a tee shirt on! They come in a huge range of  fantastic patterns making them perfect for dress up fun. and they're also a convenient pull on item to help prevent kid’s arms and legs from becoming dinner for those darn mozzies.

THE BIRTH ORDER OF CHILDREN.....lol....

Comment Published at 05:5205:520 comments0 comments29 Visits29 VisitsReport
Found this on another site & thought it was funny enough to share with my minti friends

THE BIRTH ORDER OF CHILDREN

Your Clothes:
1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN
confirms your pregnancy.
2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.
3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.
______________________________________________________
Preparing for the Birth:
1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.
2nd baby: You don't bother because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing.
3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your eighth month.
______________________________________________________
The Layette:
1st baby: You pre-wash newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and
fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.
2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and
discard only the ones with the darkest stains.
3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?
______________________________________________________
Worries:
1st baby: At the first sign of distress-a whimper, a frown-you pick up
the baby.
2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten to wake your
firstborn.
3rd baby: You teach your three-year-old how to rewind the mechanical
swing..
____________________________________________________
Pacifier:
1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until
you can go home and wash and boil it.
2nd baby: When the pacifier falls on the floor, you squirt it off with
some juice from the baby's bottle.
3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.
______________________________________________________
Diapering:
1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour, whether they need
it or not.
2nd baby: You change their diaper every two to three hours, if needed.
3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to
sagging to their knees.
______________________________________________________
Activities:
1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and
Baby Story Hour.
2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.
3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry
cleaner.
______________________________________________________
Going Out:
1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter, you call
home five times.
2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to leave a
number where you can be reached.
3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she
sees blood.
______________________________________________________
At Home:
1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.
2nd baby: You spend a bit of everyday watching to be sure your older
child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby.
3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the
children.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Swallowing Coins (a favorite):
1st child: When first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the
hospital and demand x-rays.
2nd child: When second child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for
the coin to pass.
3rd child: When third child swallows a coin you deduct it from his
allowance!
______________________________________________________
Pass this on to everyone you know who has children . . . or everyone
who KNOWS someone who has had children . . . (The older the mother,
the funnier this is!) GRANDCHILDREN : God's reward for allowing your children to live

It's my 26th birthday tomorrow. I am starting to feel old now...lol
I now have 2 reasons to eat cake & ice-cream all day. The 2nd reason is because, 2 weeks ago i had almost all of my teeth removed surgically. I am still healing and can only eat soft foods or liquids. I have always loved 2 minute noodles, now that i have eaten them on a daily basis for 2 weeks...i am sooo over them. i reckon after i get my Falsies, i will never eat noodles again.

Many people have asked me what's the first thing i am gonna eat when i get my teeth?
I am still deciding between a Hungry Jacks Bacon Deluxe Burger or a Subway Hot sub.
I have not been able to eat a hamburger for over 2 years now, so i am drooling just at the thought of it.

At the moment my 18 month old son, eats better than i do.
check out this shirt i found for him, suits his personality perfectly

I just want to say that these shirts are great,
They come in sooo many styles and colours.
Excellent Quality, Trendy Designs and at a reasonable price.
My favourite thing about them is that a percentage of the proceeds
from this store go to PETA.

They are available at this store

In early October i asked minti members for advice on Flying with a 1 year old. I thought i should say Thankyou all those who gave their advice & also let everyone know how our plane trip went.

I decided to try the "panadol" idea. I gave him a dose 1/2 hour before we boarded the plane & by the time the plane reached "cruising altitude" he was asleep. He slept throught the entire flight to Sydney, which surprised me. I really expected him to either scream or be a wiggly worm all the way. The return trip was much the same. Gave him panadol before boarding & he was out within 5 minutes of takeoff. Here's a pic of Brock @ Darling Harbour, on our last day in Sydney. He was so buggered from all the excitement!
