What a sunny spring day, the sun has been shining all day here where l am in Melbourne....the boys are home from school and complaining there hot....they where only out in the sunshine for 30-45 minutes.

l spent the mid morning removing walking fish eggs from my tank.....there was alot to remove, mum and dad where not happy l was in there tank making a mess....but hey l couldnt leave them in there they would become dinner.

This afternoon l went shopping for awhile, got some dinner and picked up some stuff that the boys wanted for there dad for fathers day....l also got Geoff his birthday present for the 10th September. Picked up the DVD's Justin had on hold at the video shop!

Finally caught up with all the washing from the weekend, the sun helped me big time today....now all thats left is to clean the mud of the big tent...l am hopeing hubby takes it into work and users the pressure gun on it, its to big for the washing machine LOL.

Have a great day all.....Hugs xxoo

When l got home today, to my suprise l had alot of little white eggs all over my 6ft axie tank....oh no!! Now there is a long job ahead of me in raising these babies, many will not live to see adult hood, but l will try. Two years ago, they had 2 batches of babies just two weeks apart, l had babies everywhere.....so far l have counted 200+ eggs, but she is still laying them. Later today l will either have to collect all the eggs and place them into my smaller tank or move the adults out of the big tank and into the smaller tank. Just wait and see how many more she lays....my female is brown and the male is black, l should have alot of golden ones when they get bigger.

Sorry the pics aint clear but its hard to take through glass.

Early Friday morning we packed and left for another fun and exciting camping trip to Heathcote Junction.....we arrived at 11am, unpacked and got the tents set up. Mark snr. came with us and stayed the first night...it was freezing but the camp fire kept us warm ..... the boys did heaps of bike and quad riding. Saturday morning Mark left, due to he didnt want to be there when the others arrived - yeah right....l believe he wanted to leave cos he knew the big 250 bikes where coming and he didnt want to say he couldnt ride - who cares. Geoff, Justin and Mark left the camp site at 10am, to go to the shops in town and to met Dale, Jason and Jess who where cming down for the day and night. Me, Andrew, John and Dean stayed back and got some more things ready for the night....lm glad l took my docking station for the ipod as the sounds where great out there. When they all arived back we helped them set up there tent, and then all the kids where off on the bikes....Jess had real fun riding throught the mud puddles with the boys, l have never seen the kids so muddy. There was lots of laughter and fun that night, even in the rain that came from no where no one really care'd. Sunday morning we packed up in the afternoon, in the pouring rain as it was not going to leave and we where home by 3pm....l have so much washing to do...everything is muddy and wet. Here are some pics.

What drama l had this morning, l slept in....woke up in a fright l just knew l had to get the kids to school....when l came out of my room, the 3 older boys where dressed and ready to go. l thought they had slept in as well, but not them they where ready to go.....hooray l thought they aint going to be late now. All that had to be done was there lunches, l packed there lunch bags while getting told from Justin how he didnt want to wake me, l needed my sleep....sweet but not on a weekday - they should let me sleep on the weekends LOL. Off they went to school!
Feeding drama.....Dean wanted his bottle and pear & banana rice cereal all at once..cry time..l thought he wasnt hungry as everytime l gave him a mouth full he would start chatting and blowing bubbles. As soon as l put it back on the table, he would look at it and start baby yelling...l guess he wanted it but had alot to say aswell.....great food time is always going to be messy now. Messy face when blowing bubbles.

Mark slept until 12pm today, he didnt have a late night, but l think they weekend wore him out as he was helping in the garden yesterday with his dad and older brothers.....he was weeding.

Have a great day everyone

lm so very, very proud of my 2 boys..... we arrived at the Footy club, hubby had to help set up things and everyone started turning up after 6pm....The night started off with the under 10's and 12's getting there awards and speechers where made....it was a very tearful night for the coaches and parents and alot of the kids. Then it was time for the under 14's awards.....Andrew's name was called up and he got " Most Determined" for 2008.

Then it was time for the under 16's awards.......Justin name was called up and he got "Coaches Award" for 2008.
l was so proud of them , there first year in playing football and they got awards....Geoff had a huge grin on his face. Then Geoffs name was called up to his suprise for "Goal empire" for 2008. He was given a white bag with the flags and white jacket.....he was pretty much in shock.
The night went well and my chocolate crackles where a hug hit.... they went down fast so l am glad l made that many. Adults pigged out BIG TIMe, l think alot of them had not had chocolate crackles for a real long time.
Have a great day all.

l have finally finished making 300 chocolate crackles for the presentation night at the boys footy club tonight, all the players under 18 have to attend to night. l dont think l will be making any chocolate crackles for awhile, l think l will be dreaming of them tonight LOL.
Another than that l also did spaghetti with meatballs for our meal when we all get home......my boys always find room for more food, espically the older 2, they have hollow teenage legs LOL.
In all that l manage to keep up with Mark and Dean ... hubby popped in to pick up the boys motorbike, who knows what he is planning to do with it at work. Maybe its finally getting fixed, we are still hunting for the keys to the quad bikes....there been missing since we went camping, l reackon there somewhere in the 4WD...but hubby reackons he has searched the car, but l dont think he has looked to hard.
Have a great weekend all.

This morning l went to the plaza, while l was there in nearly every shop l went to some one either from the shop or shopping would come up and talk to Dean....it was not just the elderly people either , young people came up and spoke to him. He would smile at them and then start baby talking - so you guessed it my shopping took awhile to do.
l took him to see the head chemist and she gave me some cream for his eczema...she was rather suprised that the doc gave him nothing for it, the cream she gave me is DermAid Soft 1% cream, l was told to use it 3 days on and then 3 days off. l am having trouble controlling it on his chest thats why l ask for a second opinion....she also suggust maybe he might be geting thrush again....he has had it before when he was 2 weeks old. l have no idea how he got it as l boil everything bottles, teats, dummys and teething toys. Some babies must just get it easier....but l couldnt find any sign of it in his mouth or bottom area - strange, will just have to keep an eye on him if it appears to the chemist again for drops or cream.
After all the talking l managed to get some meat for dinner tonight and Dean some baby fruit juice - l rang my HC and told her he is not drinking anything apart from formula and she told me to buy some baby fruit juice and water it down some more....he is trying pear today.
When l got home l cleaned again, did 3 loads of washing and feed Dean his morning bottle, then it was off again to pick Mark up from kinder....there learning about Australia animals, he came home as a Koala, face mask.
Have a great day all
