Its been a busy week so far with all the spring cleaning....that only took a few days but me and the boys managed to do it in no time. l got good news this morning there is a mobile phone shop that is willing to fix my phone, l have to send it to NSW but they are reackon it will cost me no more than $80 to replace the piece that need fixing - YAH!!!!!! l thought l would never find a place that could do it, there aint many in Melbourne that are willing to fix it.. if l had have sent it to Nokia they would have charged me heaps and l was not willing to pay to much....so next week the phone goes an l shall have it back within 2-3 days, thats all they reackon it will take to repair.
l heard from libby (libbylincoln) she is so very proud of her son....he is going to met the preminer of TAS in October for his reading and Maths he is having lunch with him......GO CHRIS!!!!
The first week of school hoildays are nearly over and the boys have helped heaps and l brought them some games for helping , they where so pleased....they even wanted the new monoploy Melbourne version so l was not going to disagree with them gets them off the PS3, PS2, PSP and DS... they can play together more.
Dean my baby he aint being a baby so much now, with the rolling and holding his bottle... he only wants mummy for soilds and nappy changes plus his first tooth is nearly through , he aint cmplaining...maybe he is just like that cos big bros are home.
Have a great week all - what left of it.....my axie laid another batch of eggs l have to get out of the tank tomorrow.

Second day of school hoildays already....we spent all day of yesterday sorting through the kids stuff, that some how never got unpacked when we moved into this place 2 years ago....yes it had been pack for that long. l threw away heaps and found clothes that had been missing for agers. Everything was just put into our small storage shed and forgotton about....not now LOL.
Today l have to go up to the plaza and buy some more large rubbish bags as we are going to continue sorting through the rest of the stuff....there will be heaps for the rubbish. Once the shed is empty l can move the motorbikes and quad bikes into there and his lawn mower, whipper snipper, BBQ out of the big shed so we can play the play table again with out having to move all the stuff out to do so. This is a big job but someone has to do it.
What we are keeping l am moving into the spare room, then it will all be sorted again and put into its place. l am really hoping it will all be done by the weekend....lm just washing all the clothes and then sorting out what to keep and what to go to the op shop and whats rubbish.
Knowing my luck l will do this and then we will move and everything will have to be packed again. Just have that feeling.
Sorry if l dont get to do much on minti this week....but my friends you know why now...l better go and get things started for today.
Have a great week

9:30am
My axies babies started hatching last night...time to move them into the small fish tank, but the hard job is getting the ones that are hatched out without disturbing the ones that are still in there eggs sacks. One really long progess to do today....lve just finished getting the tank ready, clean out and fresh water placed in it, l also put the divider in so l can half them.....they eat each other.
11am
Finished finally, there are now in the seperate lots, here are some pics - there so tiny at the moment...look like tadpoles with tiny feathers each side of there face. Most are white with white eyes, some are white with black eyes and there are still little black ones ready to hatch any hour now. There color will change in the next few weeks. Now l have to stock up on blood warms...l chop them up to make it easier for the babies to eat.

Container - some ready to hatch Divided tank - new home

Some bubs - getting ready to move into there new home

Babies on the treasure chest

Babies on the tank floor.....there the small white shapes.
Apart from doing the mexican walking fish babies....l spent the early morning cleaning..we are having friends over tonite, there watching the footy....oh no!!!!
Have a great week end

As alot of you know l had an appointment yesterday at the high school for my oldest son. We arrived at the school , all l was told was l had to come down to sign a form. My oldest was mucking around with a few of his freinds last week , when he was asked to return to his seat in class, he whispered under his breath - something not very nice... the teacher must have heard him and report what he said to the student welfare teacher, he was suspended for a week....a week at hme with mum aint much fun, l got him to catch up with any work and do jobs around the house. Anyhow he is on a student conduct book, where the teacher of each class has to sign and write down how the class went ... thats fine as they can keep track of his work and homework if any.
What got me biting my tongue was the attitude of the student welfare teacher, l nearly lost the plot in what he told my son to go do....l really want to take him out of that school but he only has one term left then he is off to the senior campus. He told my son straight out "why dont you leave this school, go to another or find a job"....education is suppose to be there business to try and keep a hormone rage teen at school not to encourage them to leave without even doing there VCE.
Anyhow his day went well, one of his teachers is the head of the school and when he found out that my son was suspended for a whole week for saying one word and then getting put onto a student conducted card .... just say he is not happy that the student welfare teacher did it without his permission....he rang me and told me he was going to look into this further espically after l told him what this guy said to my son......no wonder the kids have no respected for someone who treats them like there nothing. He is also please l never went off as the student welfare teacher might have got a shock but also made my sons time left there hell.
Sorry for my complaining but l thought l would keep you all updated.

This morning l was up bright and early, l dont know how as Dean had been having nightmares all night.....he would cry in his sleep l would get up and check on him, put my hand on his cheek and he would roll back over and start snoring again....poor little guy. l had to go down to the shop as there was no milk or bread again...boys!! l quickly did it, while Andrew and Justin listerned out for Dean if he woke up.....made there school lunches, got them breakfast and off they went to school. Dean just had a huge breaky, he was hungry BIG TIME!!! Now he is having a little cat nap - sorry he has just woken up not even 10 minutes and is watching Mark eat his weetbixs and looking at the TV, Marks watching Ghostbusters 2 on foxtel.
l had a knock at the door this morning the lady down the street came to ask me if l wanted her kids plastic seesaw and outdoor table and chair set for Dean....as he babies have grown out of them. It was very nice of her to think of Dean. They should keep him activity outside when he starts moving around, until then Mark will have sme fun with them.

Sunday was fathers day.....hubby got up early to the kids suprise, they wanted to make him breakfast in bed but that didnt happen....so he got his breakfast bacon and eggs in front of the TV. They gave him V8 Supercars vacuum flask gift pack, skull singlet top, AFL Hawks dog tags, Dad Rocks can holder and BBQ apron. Dean gave him a sign for the car "little dude on board" - its a little blue tshirt. They wanted me to give him part of his birthday present - so l did....a tribel ring and tshirt saying "l dont need an encyclopedia...my wife knows it all!! They found that funny but true LOL.

Hope everyone has a great day

When l got home today, to my suprise l had alot of little white eggs all over my 6ft axie tank....oh no!! Now there is a long job ahead of me in raising these babies, many will not live to see adult hood, but l will try. Two years ago, they had 2 batches of babies just two weeks apart, l had babies everywhere.....so far l have counted 200+ eggs, but she is still laying them. Later today l will either have to collect all the eggs and place them into my smaller tank or move the adults out of the big tank and into the smaller tank. Just wait and see how many more she lays....my female is brown and the male is black, l should have alot of golden ones when they get bigger.
<= all over the rock and filter..little white dots
<= all over the bottom of the filter

Sorry the pics aint clear but its hard to take through glass.

Early Friday morning we packed and left for another fun and exciting camping trip to Heathcote Junction.....we arrived at 11am, unpacked and got the tents set up. Mark snr. came with us and stayed the first night...it was freezing but the camp fire kept us warm ..... the boys did heaps of bike and quad riding. Saturday morning Mark left, due to he didnt want to be there when the others arrived - yeah right....l believe he wanted to leave cos he knew the big 250 bikes where coming and he didnt want to say he couldnt ride - who cares. Geoff, Justin and Mark left the camp site at 10am, to go to the shops in town and to met Dale, Jason and Jess who where cming down for the day and night. Me, Andrew, John and Dean stayed back and got some more things ready for the night....lm glad l took my docking station for the ipod as the sounds where great out there. When they all arived back we helped them set up there tent, and then all the kids where off on the bikes....Jess had real fun riding throught the mud puddles with the boys, l have never seen the kids so muddy. There was lots of laughter and fun that night, even in the rain that came from no where no one really care'd. Sunday morning we packed up in the afternoon, in the pouring rain as it was not going to leave and we where home by 3pm....l have so much washing to do...everything is muddy and wet. Here are some pics.
