We having been shopping today. Vic and I bought our family pressy. It's fantastic, and even better it was on sale. On top of that I got 10% off for a special staff discount (which is running today and Sunday. So we save over another $100. Then when walking through the shopping centre I spied a dress that I Know Nat will just love. It was only $29.95 and then I spotted a clearance rack with dresses for just 14.95 and there was another dress that she'll love. She thinks the phone we got her istheonly pressy she was getting for christmas. I can't wait to she the surprise look on her face on christmas morning. We have just picked up Nat and her friend Jamie from there christmas busking. When I walked over they both had beeming smiles on their faces. Thewy had a great time and saw many people they knew, including one of the band teachers who gave them words of encouragement and some money too. They worked it out and they made 24.10 each an hour. Wish I got that pay rate. Good on em'. |

I wrote an article a while ago about my beloved RSM shopping method. It caused a bit of concern to me as it wasn't written right. I did try to delete it but was unable as other member had contributed. So I edit it a lot. A real real lot. And now hopefully on the artticle I have put enough info for people to do it. Anyway I finally have got it finished. I hope it reads ok. |

It's been today. Another show done and dusted as the old saying goes. Oh and my feet are sore and and don't know whether to go and have a nice hot show and hit the hay. Or just skip the shower and fall into bed. The kids did well. And I got Jayden to do a few things with Grandma when he stayed here last. I entered them in for him and he got a two 1st's and a 2nd. I'm sure he'll be pleased when I show him the certificates. I'll have to make sure he can come to the next one and see his stuff in the show with all the other entries. He couldn't come today as they were busy with Tee-ball and I think he had a soccer wind up after that.

We have a bull named Benny and he's rather a naughty bull. In fact he's been very mischievious since he was a calf. I bid on him at a city of swan auction. The reason he was there was he and some of his cow mates were really good escape artists. And it was the third or maybe fourth time in quite a short period that they had just pushed their way through fences and were found wandering around. So the previous times the owner had paid the impound fee and got them back. But he decided enough was enough and they were more trouble than they were worth. Usually on our property he just goes into places and paddocks we'd rather him not. For the past few months we've had him and two hiefers down around our boundry as there is quite a lot of space and it needed to be mowed down before summer. I actually said to Vic a few weeks back we should move them back up into the main paddocks. Anyway he said just a bit longer.
Today Benny and co decided to go visit our neighbors animals. They were in the paddock with the horses and their steer. So we had to get them back. And guess what we have had rain today. And right when we attempted to get them back not only was it raining. But the thunder and lighening started and to top it off, hail. That's right it's summer or almost and we're out there in hail. Unbelievable. Anyway after much coxing with the shy cow they are all safe and sound back in the paddocks, where dare I say it. They can't go wandering to other peoples places. TOUCH WOOD> |

Oh it's great to be home. Nice to be in my own bed. Even better to be next to my wonderful hubby. All the animals are fine, the tomato plants and cucumbers seem to have doubled in sized in just 10 days. He's done a great job looking after everything. The balineese are wonderful, friendly calm people will miss there smiling faces. First visit and it definatley won't be my last. Maybe it can be a christmas shopping trip every 2 or 3 years. I'll have to keep swapmeeting to save up. MMM, good idea I think !!! |

I can NOT believe it. My girl dubbed by her friends and teachers in Singapore as a real shop-a-holic, said tonight I have had enough of shopping. Jess and I just look at one another in absolute disbelief. She said tommorow I just want to chill by the pool. So I guss since it is the last day, OMG that's gone so quick. I should just let her. Besides maybe she can just keep an eye on Jayden and Ben, whilst Jess and I get the last minute things. That is IF we have forgotton to buy anything, and I think not. Maybe we'll all have a chill day.
Can't wait to see Vic, I have really missed him, soppy but true. |

We all had a fantastic time today. We had photos with a chimpanese. He was really lovable, and the tiger cubs too cute, we got photos pat them. They are only 2 months old. Baby Preston just wanted to hit them. Like he does everything he gets excited about. His thumb is not bothering him at all.
I kinda spoilt myself today. We went to the silver place I think in Ubud. Anyway we were in this huge place with loads of hand made silver jewelery and picture and all sorts of stuff made from silver. I don't wear jewelery much. A pair of earings and a gold ring. I don't even wear my engagement and wedding rings, only cause I need to get them resized. I'm a lot bigger than when we got married. So I found a pair of lovely earings and they were oonly about $18 Au, but then I was showen a nice pendant that went with it. And then they showed me a really nice bracelet to match. Autually they showed me a few. But the one I really liked was $175 au at first. Then of coursea nice silver chain to put the pendant on. The whole lot eventually I got for $200 au. I did ok but jessica and nat are both much better at bartering than me. I think I prefer it at the big department stores. If I see a bargain that better there I don't need to think anymore about it just do I want it or not. Jess has this lady she's been going to and friend have gone to her for years and years. You don't barter with her she gives rock bottom price all the time.
She such a nice lady too. |

Hi guys, having for the most part a fabulous time here in Bali. Shopping is awesome. I have photos of me in sereval different deckchairs. It's great when I get home I definately will post photos. Nat and I have taken an hour out of our busy shopping schedules to jump on the internet and keep in touch with friend and family. PLus I thought I'd better clear my email box, sure enough there was 66 to check.
We had one terrible day yesterday. I guess everyone worse nightmare for a foriegn country is needing medical help. Boy did we need it, my daughter Jess nearly jumped on a plane home. Baby Preston had the end of his thumb badly servered, almost off in fact. He had surgery yesterday to stitch it back. 9 stitches under general anertetic. But he was ok to come back with us by the end of the day. And lucky we took out travel insurance because it was not cheap. So far the bill is just over 12 and 1/2 million rupea and thats not including today s check up and fridays. But he's ok and that's the main thing. It was a really large hospital and they treated us really well. Hopefully no more dramas.
And lots more shopping and fun to come. |
