This has been bugging me for 2 weeks now! Is Bear in the big blue house a puppet or does he have a man inside there? I am confused, as a puppet he is massive and you cant see the poles like you can with the other characters, but he only ever moves one arm, so how could he be a man?????

OMG how old is this blog!! LOL

Austin still loves bear, actually, it is one of the only things he will sit and watch without getting bored and whinging. Unfortunately i only got worse with watching the kids show LOL

I always thought it was a man inside the bear too, but wasnt so sure, but this confirms it. Thanks everyone. My 5 year old still loves this show.

LOL.  He has a man inside him.  One arm doesn't move due to the fact that the 'puppeteers' hand is controlling the head and mouth, so he uses the other arm to control both Bears arms.  I love this little show, and so do my girls.  I wish they'd bring it back on tele!

He is like big bird.  He only ever moves one arm and you can see the strings attached.

i think its a man.... i dunno how it could be a puppet unless they used technology to supersize him haha.
But yeh i agree with libbyS.....try not to watch too much ABC.... especially play school....or you'll end up behaving like a loony haha.

Hun, listen to me closely. You need to get out of the house!!

I know I had a problem when the kids would go outside to play and I'd keep watching ABC kids to see what happened! Mind you, I always analyse the plot lines... things go down quickly from there.

So.. back away from the television....

Same here!  Especially with the shows I can't stand, like Teletubbies and In The Night Garden.  I can't stand them, but have to watch to see why my girls are so fascinated.

Thanks for the advice! I'm sure my boyfriend thinks i'm going absolutely crazy now!! Had just came in asking what i was laughing at.

Yes you're right, too much kids tv! But what can ya do? We like to dance and sing along to all the fun songs!! Ha ha... Oh i know i'll have to turn it off when he goes to sleep!!
