Do you ever???

Comment Published at 15:4015:4013 comments13 comments46 Visits46 VisitsReport

Do you ever miss the baby baby stage? I was just looking at some old pics of Austin and caught myself wishing he was still that little. Still little enough for me to pick up and cuddle whenever i wanted without him running away, or feed him without him throwing it at me, or even just play with him without tantrums being throw randomly.

Dont get me wrong, i love that he is growing up and i love watching him learn new things and do new things. But i really miss the little baby stage.

Yes, but I also suspect that with me it's a touch of the the rose-tinted specs, because I was too sleep deprived to enjoy it much at the time! But I have to agree with S's childminder- every age is the best age, as they never cease to amaze me. 2 IS very cute at the moment, especially now shes talking in sentences, like "oh dear me mummy"!

Hun, our house is starting to fill up with pets as I am not allowed to have any more kids, for this exact reason.  It is no wonder us mums get called Mother Hens.  Next, we''ll be clucking along and scratching up the yards! lol.

Yeah! J is 16weeks and the newborn stage goes too fast. Honestly was tough though with my first 3. And its also great to see them grow learn and develop.

Re: Do you ever???

I'm with you on this one....I too miss my cherubs as baby babies....They are all so trying to show their own independance at the moment and I don't seem to stand a chance....3 of them all going through this at once....No I don't have triplets just 3 very close together....

No one really wants to hug mumma unless of course they want something....

Cheers Spinnychic

Oh Cass, my baby is an adult this year Where did the time go!? I still picture her as a lil bubba. I look at the twins and want to freeze time. Sami is off to high school, growing up way to fast. She loves the idea of being bigger but I sure don't! Even K is a little girl now and looks big next to Jamie and Jacque.

Yes yes yes yes yes!! In total agreeance with you! That stage where they loved mummy unconditionally and always greeted you with a smile! I love watching my little one grow too and it is happening all too quickly, no longer my baby but my little boy.
