HI DAD

Comment Published at 22:5322:5322 comments22 comments47 Visits47 VisitsReport

I had the strangest morning.  My dad waking me at 8 in the morning! How had he even got into the house? I asked him why he was here so early as i wasn't expecting him until 9:30. Apparently he had the times mixed with another appointment i have next week. Its a good thing too because when i looked at my clock it said 5. Keiraleah!! She had played with it and changed the time. The alarm wouldn't have gone off!! It was the weirdest feeling being waken by my dad though, can you imagine? We worked out we must of been so tired the night before that we forgot to lock  the door!!! VERY NAUGHTY!

Well we went to my app. at the hospital and everything was fine. I mentioned how i wanted a natural birth if i could and so next visit we're going to discuss this at more length. They keep pushing me about having an epidural just in case. Now i know lots of people say they had one and it was fine etc. but i really don't want to have it. i have enough problems with my back as it is and the idea gives me the creeps. So its all down to twin A(Jacquelyn) to  move into place with her head down.So can i ask everyone to pray this happens? She has to move before the twins get much bigger or there won't be enough room LOL they're really kicking me right now! They must have read my mind!!

My friend from Sydney just rang. they're coming up the coast in a few weeks and will be stopping in to see us.YAY. i met my friend 18 years ago and lost touch and then we ran into each other  about 2 years ago and were neighbours for about a year before we had to move.  I remember we looked at each other and asked don't i know you from somewhere? It didn't take us long to work out!!! Small world isn't it?

Hope everyone has a great and relaxing weekend!

Re: HI DAD

here's to a natural birth!!  My second went so much faster than the first and they made me get an epidural with the first.  And the baby will turn.  I can just feel it.  Hang in there.

Re: HI DAD

If that had been my dad, I would have woken up to a bucket of cold water on me, the radio playing sports and the tv playing sports!  Arrrrggggggghhhhhh! lol..

Hope BubbA shifts herself around for you.  They do say that after the first one moves, they aren't overly concerned about the 2nd until the first is delivered, because the 2nd will often turn while the 1st is being delivered..  Something about more room.

Here's to hoping for a natural birth for you!  And if you don't want the epidural, tell them to have it instead! lol.

Re: HI DAD

Isn't it great how somethings in life just bring us to meeting people..

I believe in fate, I have a cousin I met on the internet whom was a big surprise to most of the family she found me through genes reunited all because of me putting my mums last name and birth place on the site (but that is a whole other story.. She is a wonderful person and I just wish I had met her when I still lived in Australia.

I am sure you were supposed to meet your friend again...

And yep I am sure it would have been an amazing surprise to have your dad wake you.. I would have woken thinking I was in a dream... :)

Re: HI DAD

My friend is very pyhic (sp?) and when i was in hospital a few weeks ago she said to another friend"something doesn't feel right, i've gotta ring Cath" .So we definitely have a mind connection. Just a pity we missed out on a lot of time but thats how it goes. Funny part, when we met we both didn't have kids.

and Dad, yeah, it did feel a bit like that, more like the twilight zone lol

Re: HI DAD

Wow. About the door I would lock that as soon as you get in the door. I always leave mine locked even if we are in the house and it is broad daylight as you never know these days, plus I have a rude neighbour that will just walk straight in if you leave it unlocked. I think that is rude cause it would be nice to wait for the invite as you may be doing or saying anything. LOL

Anyway, hope that the delivery goes smoothly and that you are not too nervous. It is so exciting but I can imagine scary too. All the best, Lynette xx

Re: HI DAD

My Daniel did the same thing earlier this week and woke up at some ridiculous hour thinking it was morning !!!!

Good job it was your dad that walked into the house tho !!!!! Could have been a whole different story

You're on my prayer list that everything works out for you to have a normal delivery with the twins

Re: HI DAD

That was luckyy it was only your dad that came through that door you could havebeen robbed you willl have to make sure its locked before u get of to bed tonight . Dont u just love kids u would have got up really late and be 5 hours early for everything lucky u noticed lmao.

goodluck at your next hospital appointment dont agree with anything u dont want to . All through my preegnancy i was told i will need a c section because my pelvis is weak which i refused i wanted natural all the way after they realised i wasnt having c sectionthey pushed me for epidural they kept tellling me my body would not cope without drugs even while i was in labour they wanted me to have it i refused and in the end the only drugsi had was gas and air . Dont let them force u into it its your baby ur choice.

I hope you have a lovely time with your friend bet u cant wait to see her . Enjoy the rest of yourr week

Luv Emz xxx

Re: HI DAD

Well, that was lucky wasn't it.  Don't you just love it when the kids play with the clock!!!

I had an epidural with my first daughter and it didn't affect my back at all but if you want to try without it then do it.  How far along are you?  I hope you can have a natural birth because I think you recover from it quicker than a c-section (not that I had one) but I was up doing things straight away.

That will be nice for you to see your friend, it's nice when you get calls like that.

I hope you have a great weekend.

Michelle
