What a afternoon i had, we were invited to our school today for a meeting to see where the development of our school structure is at, as the government have offered 2.4 million to upgrade, or sell our school and have on offer 3.4 plus the sale of our current school, all was going well, until the main speaker asked was there any concerns or questions, and wow did that open up a can of worms.. As we had pollies there making political statements, ex parents and friends association raising safety issues, and childcare maanagement worrying about transport, but the meeting was not about that, as the education dept just wanted to show their plans... Well mick said to chloes childcarer was more concerned about her buissness, and i had to shoosh him, and say its ok to be assertive but turn a negative in to a positive as chloe is still attending this childcare centre to she goes to school next year.... It was a very long discussion, and im hoping that the out come will benifit our childrens future in our community.... Im so drained and will be happy to have a new school as our school has lost resources abnd classes if we upgrade, so i cant see how that can help our kids.... sorry if this is unusual i just had to write it somewhere, and hopefully get some feedback on what would you do, if this was your childs school
