Today we decided as we dont have any extras this weekend that we would do a family day out...
So mick went and picked the girls up from their aunts and came back and we headed to the beacj....Was very windy there and i was in the shade under the beach umbrella...The kids and mick went in the water and had a ball..... I brought a magazine while there and layed back and relaxed... Had a bbq lunch, and then we decided to have one more swim and head home...

Have got my mil coming for dinner and we having a roast.... Tomorrow my car goes in to be fixed and i be without a car for 3 days arghhhhhhhhhh..

Hope everyone has had a relaxing weekend......

Sounds like you all had a ball at the beach! We live 1hour away from a beach, but our car won't make it there! lol.

I hope the mil behaved herself! lol. Don't have to worry about that here!

Never mind not having a car for 3 days, lots of walking and public transport. Yeah, like we coped! lol.

and yes my mil is a angel.....

and wont be doing public transport, and might walk if need be, have heaps to do around my house, so maybe thats a good thing,.,.

It's great when you can go somewhere with the family and have a GREAT time . . . I love going out with the kids and having a BBQ, its what I love about Summer . . .

Hope you roast went well and remember NOT to say the words "turkey slap" in front of the MIL

I love a Sunday Roast !!
Glad you had a lovely time, I love the beach I am one of those that lies on the beach in the sun for hours tanning if I get half a chance, this year plans didn't work out as the sun only shone when I was at work

Most of our summer was a washout!!!

Yes thats it, and we have decided that when we dont have other children we let the kids choose where they want to go, cost less activitys/outings,....

as for the roast, No gravy tonite, but u can still come any time....

wow great minds think alike huh, we went to the beach as well. it was nice. Alex liked it more than charlie but. mind you the waves at scabs were high for what they are used to at piont perion.

glad you had such a nice time this weekend, bummer about your car but. i would be lost without mine. enjoy that roast, we had noodle box. yummo. i love roast specially beef with yorkshire pud.

IT was the day for the beach for sure liz... and our waves were low so that was good for the kids..

and yes i be glad when its all fixed as mick hit a roo with it as well ,. so its jinxed and will be selling it later on..

Must be the day for roasts! I did roast lamb for the boys-yuck! Don't know why since I have been out mowing all afternoon!LOL.

The beach how lucky, glad it was a great day for you. I love BBQ's yum, I also love Roasts. Whens dinner?? (not pork I hope) LOL. How will you cope with out the car? I couldn't. Will they give you a car to use?

Yes was a gorgous day... and had Chicken today.....and whenever u can get to tassie u are welcome to my house for the roast,,,,

and as for the car, its 2 sleeps, and no we cant afford to pay the extra for a hire car....

That sounds so nice Cazza. I am just trying to stay out of the heat. I am reaching all the dusty places in my packing now. Why do I keep all this stuff that I just store away on top of the wardrobe for 4 years. Maybe I should just close my eyes and throw it out but can't bring myself to do it. Yum! Roast. Sounds nice but just realised all the baking dishes are packed away. I left out one frypan and a few pots. Have a nice night. I don't know what I would do without the car. You don't realise til you have to go without it for a while, hey? Sounds like you have had a wonderful weekend.
