At least you have clean carpets now, so something good did come out of the day.

I'm with you Cazza, can't  fathom why school children should have a day off for a race day....think we are sending wrong messages to our children, just my opinion.

Sounds like you are having one of those days....you go right ahead and whinge all you like, it's good for the soul, once in awhile. I hope by today's end everything has setlled down for you and you can relax with a quiet drink!

Just wanted to also say sweet....that i will be  right there  beside you next week when you walk through those doors to go to Tafe....hey my girl is going to school, how proud i am....you will knock their socks off!

We have a publlic holiday on the 10th march(i think!!) for adelaide race day and all of my kids have this fri off for the teachers development  day so now i have to cancel my plans for that day as im not dragging all the kids out for my coffee with friends ....

Tomorrow there is a teacher's strike too, or is that just W.A? That means I will have an extra at work. I was begining to enjoy the peace. lol Hope the day gets better. lol
