So sorry cazza. To lose a child must be the most unbearable pain imaginable. My partner had a cot death when hw was married to his first wife,that was nineteen years ago and still affects him.So very sad.Your friend must be hurting deeply too,the media cause such pain for people sometimes when they least need it. I really don't know what else to say-but thinking of all of you at this sad time. Loopy xx

hunni, I'm so sorry to  hear about your losses.  My heart and prayers go out to you and your family and your friends.  It does seem so unfair at times, but it is a blessing to be able to spend the time we do with them.  I hope all can take care and know that they are in good hands now.

i agree with you, things like this show you that you should really appreciate the people around you...

Oh Cazza, that is so sad. What your cousin must be going thru..its gut wrenching. I often think about how parents manage to survive after losing a child..for whatever reason it may be. I have seen first hand what pain my friend went thru after losing her 2yr son and it is nothing i want to ever see again. Its something u wouldnt wish upon your worst enemy. Loss of a child is the cruelest of all death. You seem to feel so much more for the parents when u r a parent yourself, knowing full well that it could have been you and your child but thanking your lucky stars that it wasn't while feeling guilty for feeling that way..

That sounds like hell. SO hard to deal with death, and very hard to deal with death of an infant and young people. I hope that everyone is able to stand together and support each other. Good luck.

Oh Cazza,

I know life can be cruel and it is just not fair.  Your blog bought tears to my eyes made me remember how my friends neice died in the hospital only a few hrs old and also a lady in my mothers group her son has  just been diagnosed with a rare disease that means a bone marrow transplant.   So yeah life is bloody cruel.
