Today was the last day for the term 1 for our kids in tassie and what a cool day my kids had at school.. The SRC students decided to fundraise for the school camp that grade 5/6 will be going on in term 3 so it costs us parents less.. So during this term they have had guess the jelly beans, got some of the money that we raised for chocolates,and a car wash,.., Today all students and staff were asked to wear their Pjs to school , and if they wanted they could donate a gold coin as well.. My guys wore their Pjs, dressing gowns and slippers.. They all looked so funny.. when we got to school we saw a few others that were in their Pjs as well.. The kids said it was a good day for them.

Today for me was just at home again doing housework, and getting ready to have 2 extras for the weekend.. Tomorrow night i am taken a few hours for me and going to a friends house for a bbq and drinks for her bday..

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and for the tassie members have fun with your kids these holidays..

At this stage, we haven't had the pj day at our school this year ( not as far as i know anyways ) but it sounds like alot of fun.

You know if the school had it hehe, as we had kids walking to school in their pjs.. was a fun day my kids said..

Enjoy your school holidays! Ours aren't until the first week of July I think. Hope the fund raising goes well so that you don't need to pay too much for camp. So cool that the kids went to school in there pjs. How funny. Nik would love that then he wouldn't have to get out of bed til 5 minutes before school starts. LOL Lynette xx

Thank you lynette and i hope we can raise more as well. As for nik loving the pj day, the rule was you wasnt allowed to wear the same pjs they went to sleep in..

and we have ours early cause we have only 3 terms, its a bit sucky at times..

YAY for the holidays! I always love spending the extra time with the kids.

We call dress up days "mufti" up here and are always a big hit.

Have fun at your friends BBQ. Good to see you taking time out for yourself.

Thank you cath and i have the kids booked in for vacation care for some of the holidays, but hoping to have one on one with them over the holidays as well..

Yeah should be a good nite, and mick has made plans for our kids and the kids that are staying as well.. so i can relax and go and enjoy it..
