As you all know i had the introduction day to children services cert 3.. Dropped the kids of at school and then headed to tafe.... Once there met up with a couple of my friends and we headed to the class...

We got the huge rules spill and tour of tafe again and then broke into groups to get to know each other..

All was good until we were told how much it was going to cost, and due to Micks income i am not entitled to any assistance so have to next week to pay $240 for the 3 modules that i have to do for the 6 months and then have a school holidays and then go back in febuary and pay the other $240 for the rest of the course, and then on top of that i have to pay extra for other modules.. so was hoping for some help, but oh well thats life and we get there...

Some of the girls in the class i reckon we going to have issues with, but i just have to learn to ignore them..

We also be going on practical placements into a child care centre , and will be diffrent to enter a diffrent creche....

Finished at 2.30 and went and got the kids, and came home to try and do my tax, very stressful...

Then we headed to the shops and Bottle shop as i so in need of a drink.. so will be on the scotch tonight...

Hope everyone has a great weekend.. and im back at tafe tuesday yay- mayby...

Glad everything is going well with tafe. Bummer about the cost tho but that's life.

yes thats what mick reckons too, im just a scrooge when it comes to spending money on me, but it benifit the kids later on..

Yes i had a couple drinks but not pissed , doing that next weekend,, hehe..

Money hungry Tafe! lol. I'm sure they can help with a payment plan so that you pay it off over the length of the course. Gold Coast Tafe does, so why not ask your local campus? Worst they can say is no.

It's good that you got in, and I really hope it goes well for you.

They said cause im not a a centrelink payment, such as parenting, carers etc,, I only get money for the kids, that i could pay $ 200 deposit and then then the rest of the $40 off, while as well just pay the lot...

Its cool, micks going to pay for it out of his tax...

Cazza, they can't ask for more than 20% as a deposit, they have to give you the same opportunities as those on a benefit, and if they don't, go to the ACCC, they are good butt kickers! lol.

hey cazza, i have done certificate 3... Its a pretty good course and i found it to be worth my while....It seems alot when you first start but you do get to enjoy it....hope it all goes well for you!!

I know it's a lot of money but you'll get there, have you asked if they do a payment plan? It'll all be worth it in the end.

yes i asked that yesterday and they said i needed to make a deposit of $200 then i could pay off the rest of the $ 40...

so i may as well may the lot.. Its weird as i can do centrepay with my other bills and start off on $ 10 , but not on the fees...

Mick said he use his tax money and pay for it....

that's ridiculous that you have to pay $200 but you can pay off $40.........what's the use of it????? What idiots!!!! Tax comes in handy doesn't it!!!!

cazza sounds all tough but before you know it you will slug it out and have your certificate 3 . it sounds like its never ending but there will come a time and look back at all this and see what you have achieved

Wow $240 is a little steep! What a shame it is going to cost you so much, but it will definately be worth it so ultimatelyI guess its ok, but still, abit of a hit for you guys!
I hope you love your new class and like the new cheche you go to for placement!

Yes felt like it was a bit steep, but mick isnt worried about the cost as he said i make more from it at the end when i get a full time Job from it..
