Last night i attended my Girlfriends bday party and was a very interesting night.. Got a lift up there by a another friend and i hit the Scotch bottle, and then i ran out of pepsi light and decided to have a Udl can , that tasted by the end of the night like lemonade.. So all was good and got home at 12 and spent some time with mick as he was left home with the kids... I went to bed at 12.30 and the room started to spin and i thought i have never felt like this, and then the next thing i was being sick,. to micks disgust as i cant handle that  side.. So he cleaned me up and tucked me back into bed hehe... So not sure it was something i ate , as i felt like my body was empty after that, or its because of how i was drinking, but i know i wont be doing that again in a hurry..

Today am feeling a bit seedy and the kids have gone to the rooms and keeping out of my way, as they were up early this morning and very noisy,...

Cant believe its the 1st june already, wow...

Today was the last day for the term 1 for our kids in tassie and what a cool day my kids had at school.. The SRC students decided to fundraise for the school camp that grade 5/6 will be going on in term 3 so it costs us parents less.. So during this term they have had guess the jelly beans, got some of the money that we raised for chocolates,and a car wash,.., Today all students and staff were asked to wear their Pjs to school , and if they wanted they could donate a gold coin as well.. My guys wore their Pjs, dressing gowns and slippers.. They all looked so funny.. when we got to school we saw a few others that were in their Pjs as well.. The kids said it was a good day for them.

Today for me was just at home again doing housework, and getting ready to have 2 extras for the weekend.. Tomorrow night i am taken a few hours for me and going to a friends house for a bbq and drinks for her bday..

Am doing well at tafe and now on holidays for 3 weeks as the kids break up on friday for 2 weeks .. so this week i went to a park with playgroup and looked after my gf daughter, and it was easy peasy as she slept the whole time.. Yesterday our tutor prepped us for interviews and was good to do as my nerves were so so.... Today stayed home,and was a bit moody and teary, and just having a sucky time, as i thought i would get more hours at the creche, so am looking elsewhere at the moment..

The rest of the week havnt got much on, and friday i have a 3 and 7 year old boys coming for the weekend , so should be interesting to see how my kids go as we havent had any for a while stay..

Hope everyone is well, and in 5 weeks  i will be a certified Child carer in Cert 2 yahoo,. and then in late june i will be interviewed for Cert 3..

Today my Family and i were fortunate enough to share some other families lifestyle... We set off from Launceston at 8.30 and headed down the highway to go to a place called Oatlands... On the way the kids , mick and i played some games and it was so much fun.. Arrived at the Home called MONTLEA, and met the couple called ruth and Brett and their 2 children alexander and Jessica,. The kids hit it off straight away and went and played,, while us adults got to know each other over a cup of tea/coffee,.. We then got all the picnic stuff organised and set off on a tour of their property... There property was 6 kms long and we felt for them as they are in drought season ... The kids got to ride in the tractor, and the back of the ute... My guys thought it was so cool, as they got to feed the cows, and were shocked that as we drove up the hill the cows come running down to be fed, mick more shocked then the kids   hehe.. Ruth got the kids to lay down on the ground as sometimes the cows will come closer to see why you are doing it, but no they were more interested in the hay bale, that the kids had rolled out..

We had a bbq, not the city type, as we had to collect sticks, and branches and light a fire first, and then had a bbq plate and cooked like that,, My guys were shocked that what was served was not from the shop and all was from the land... After lunch we went and checked out more of the land and was told how it is to live in the country.. Lunch was nice,. We also brought home some home made sauce and jams..

I was so impressed on how well the kids got on, and my kids were  so polite and well behaved..

The tv and newspaper crew didnt show as they realised that they had to travel a fair way, and so they were just going to interview the organisers,, bugger..

Left at 3.30, and me and the girls fell asleep on the way home, as it was a huge day out..

I said to mick when i woke how tough those guys have it, and how us city slickers take things for granted,, and how lucky we are.. But after today i know that the family we visited were happy and felt lucky as well..

Havnt down loaded the pics yet and am also waiting for ruth to send some through, so when they come through i post them..

So thats our day on the farm, and so pleased that kellzacar did that article now, or my family wouldnt have got that chance to meet such a lovely family..

Chloe was funny as she was busting to go to the toliet, abd held on for half hour as she wouldnt drop her pants in the bush ,, she defiently a city girl..

Today i went to kelly''s (sinstress) as she was holding a fundraising event with her neighbour for star light foundation..

So i ordered some clothes for brodie, broughy some hot chocolate of kells friend, and brought $  10 worth of raffle tickets as it was going to a good cause,..

was good to see kelly, and chloe had fun as well..

After we left there we went to soccer, and i got a phone call to rell me that i won 4th prize of the raffle, and the prize was a Voucher valued at $ 50 at a thai resturant.. so will make a dinner reservation in the next few weeks for mick and i..

Also Got a phone call today about the Farm day tomorrow and one of the Tv stations in hobart want to tape us tomorrow, and also a paper wants to interview and take photos of both families.. So will be a interesting day,.

Brodies team didnt do very well today, and he got hurt, but he bounced back, but mick and him are very quiet tonite as it was a tough game..

This past week for me has being great.. Monday i had my session at playgroup and was told by the director of the child care centre how happy her and the other tutor is with me.. Tuesday was at tafe and told the thurs teacher i wasnt returning to her class and my self assertive training worked well... Also on tuesday had the best email from IZZY that just made my week as she told me i was  the Minti Featured member for the month,,.. Wednesday i did parent help at school and then came home and done some housework.. Yesterday Bummed around the house and did general cleaning...

Today when i dropped chloe off at her creche, i was asked if i could do the lunch shift as they were a carer down, so said yes that fine.. Just had to go to my assertive class, and that was cancelled and also let my mil know that i wouldnt be going with her to watch the kids in the inter primary cross country.. I got a call after that, saying could i come in now to the centre and so i finished at the shop and then went back.. Had a ball, and was very full on..

I am so proud of my 2 eldest, as they got their mid year reports today, and was a excellent report and they are doing well... They also done well at the cross country..

This weekend is a busy one for me.. Tomorrow Kelly( sinstress) along with her neighbour are having a party plan to raise money for the star light foundation, so will pop up to see whats for offer in the morning,, Then in the afternoon brodie has soccer.. On sunday we have to travel 1 and half hours as we are participating in Farm day( kellzacar done a article on it a few months ago) where my children get to see how it is to work on the farm for a day, and also we are having a bbq/picnic lunch.. Should be a exciting day...

Today i decided to go to a short course to help me be more assertive and other areas,.,. Was very interesting just i leave it at that... Nearly got to do the childcare there, but they called a another carer..

After that i headed to kmart and wanted to get some tights, but they sold out,.,. so decided to do chloes bday presents as her bday is in 4 and half weeks.. So grabbed her a dora umbrella, some undies in dora, and a pair of tights..

I then went on a junk food shop hehe.. Then left kmart and went and Visited my aunt as i had to pick up a parcel from her.. Sat there had a drink for half hour and then left and headed to the kids school.. Watched a bit of brodies school soccer and then the bell went and we came home,.,.

Done tea, steak and veggies and then i went to a trivia night organised by the community centre as they were raising money for the volunteers that are going to do odd jobs for the community..

I think i sat at the daft table, hehe, as we had no idea.. and silly me decided to try and cheat and chat up the hotel manager and bar man and got caught,, so because my group/table was called Bob the builder we had to either cop a fine or sing bob the builder, and i forgot all the words hehe..

there was heaps of fines giving out from the Mc,and some copped more then others... Was a great night and we raised $ 1200 for the night..

I also got my pic in the paper with the ex mayor of launceston with his wife... so famous now hehe,..

So have had a great week, and so ready for the weekend as i need to unwind...

Today was great at chloe'' s creche. Turned up at the school to be told that their was a total blackout in the area due to a guy going on a rampage, and knocked down poles and transition boxes, and i thought great first day at work and there isnt none.. But we went ahead and used gas heating and was a sunny day , and the kids loved being out side.. I was also told that i am on the books for casual on call basis and the director is very happy with me..

so i helped with pasted craft things, football outside, sandpit. and hide and go seek.. There was 2 little boys there pretending they were police and wanted to lock the girls up,. and so i said how about we play a game where they confisicate the bikes ,and stick them in a bike pound like a dog pound, and us girls  had to pay for them to get out. But wow the boys charged us heaps, there was 6 bikes and we had to pay 1500 each,, ouch hehe.. I arranged to pay instalments hehe..

Had a special Lunch today as well, and was presented with a certificate of Recognition and leadership achievements of  Parenting assistance in the community.. Chloe came with me and was so well behaved.. She was happy as she saw her teacher that taught her at reading  rox last year..

Came home and had to arrange dinner for mil, sil and her kids as they still had no power to 6 o clock tonight..

Tomorrow i am going to a assertive and feel good about myself class that will run for 2 weeks,, as i feel that i need to do more in that area for me...

This morning i got a call from chloe''s carer asking me if i had tafe in the morning, and i said no wasnt going to that session no more as i have passed all that area in a diffrent course..

So she said how would you like some hours up here before you head to your special lunch at archers manor and i said yeah cool,. and could i bring chloe... They had to say no, and i assume it be because chloe would hang over me and maybe they feel i pay more attention to her. So will find out tomorrow . and just let them know i can do both with or without chloe there. So i asked if it was accredited to my course and she said that they wanted to pay me, and i was like wow really. so have to fill out a employment form and hope this is a start to a career up there...

So very excited and havent gone shopping yet as i went earlier and left my bank card at home.. so will do it after tea...

Today at Tafe was really weird.. Got their at 9.30 and we were just about to start and the fire alarm went off,.. so out we all go and meet at the meeting point.. So for half hour we froze to bits and went back to our room after we got all clear..

Our teacher gave us some forms for Cert 3 in childrens services, and he was talking away and then he said he felt funny and tired, and we all laughed at him as he was teasing us about our weekend.. Then he fell and bumped his head on the corner table as he went down.. The other teacher rushed to him  and asked him if he was ok, and he came around and she gave him a glass a water and took him to his office and she was gone for half hour, and we were all panicking.. She came back and said he was convinced to go home and was going to see his doc this afternoon..

Had our morning break after that, and then had a lady come in with some craft stuff for us to purchase.. We had some plastersine and had to make people out of them, i was a bit naughty and wasnt g rated hehe..

After that we went to the library and the computor wouldnt work for me, and got signed out 3 times and 4th attempt the fire alarm went off again, and everyone thought it was my computor i was on, as it was a diffrent sound to the morning one.. So off we go again and this one was shorter.. and then we went back to the library finished our work, and then had a lunch break..

After lunch we done some more work, and then finished up at 1.30..

I was also told today that some of the modules i do on thurs , i can get credit on and may not have to finish the thurs modules as its being 12 months ago since i did a similar course.. Find out next tues if i get them

Tomorrow is shopping day, and hope to get some tafe work done as well..

Yesterday i blogged about my bday, so feel free to read that

Last night i went out, and it was good, but i dont know by 11pm i wanted to come home, but i stuck it out..

My tutor i have on thurs that we dont see eye to eye too at times was there, and i kept out of her way..

12.30 we got home and i was very tired and think i drank myself sober hehe.. Brodie was awake when we got home as he had a sleep in the arvo.. So we had some toast and a drink and went to bed..

7.30 arghhhhhh the girls decided to wake, and caitlyn lost a tooth last night, and tooth fairy hadnt come, so i had to sneak in and do that..

i asked them to go back to bed for a little , and so every hour to 9,30 they kept coming in, saying when can we cook your brekkie..

Mick got up  and me and the kids had eggs, bacon, on toast, and juice ,... We then got up and done some housework as mil , sil, and her kids were coming for lunch..

For lunch we had a roast, and a honeycomb bavarian...Very yummy...

Presents i got today were truffles, a handprint, keyring, pjs and slippers..

Was a very casual afternoon, and i was the one slumped back in the chair with a drink in my hand watching the V8S on tv,..

so very busy, and feel a little bad as i forgot to call my foster dad to see what was the plans for nan, but as i said to mick they didnt call me for my bday.. so it sort itself out..

Have a busy week ahead of me, and hope everyone has had a great mothers day..

Got up way to early this morning and sat here like a good mummy waiting for the kids to wake to give me my presents..

So at 8.30 they all rose and they all helped me opening my pressies..

I got a new Telstra next G mobile phone with a lanyard( so cant lose it) , a Chocolate machine , deodrants, and a swirly duster.and some chocolates from friends ...

Got organised and we headed to soccer.. Was a warm day and the kids played so well.. Brodie kicked the First goal for his team and i was the proudest mum there... Had a another mum say to her son from the other team dont be scared and get in there and get the ball, they are just a bunch of girls.. and i said excuse me what sort of role model are u to your son, that comment was rude and there are boys on that team as well.. She said she didnt mean anything by it, and i said maybe u need to think about that.. and she said sorry... I said good.. What made it even better brodie kicked the goal after her comment..

Tonight am heading out to rock n roll, and have a few drinks, as i dont want to be too hung over tomorrow..

Today was very average but good.. Went shopping with mick and his mum to find a pressie for me as its my bday tomorrow... so they had me walk all over harvey norman and kmart, but wasnt allowed to see what i got..

So tomorrow the plans are get up. have brekkie, go to soccer, and then come home and have a specaial dinner and then have the kids baby sat while mick , my aunt, sil, and friends and me go out to rock n roll..

Just wanted to say thank you for all the gifts and well wishses all my friends  are sending me , as it makes my day..

On a sad Note i was nearly hit by a car today, and she clipped me but i am fine, just a bit shaken and embrassed as i said a few choice words to her in front of my friends daughters and my kids..

But all good now...

Today i did parent help at chloes class, and usually i stay with her to the assembly and then go home.. Well didnt work that way today as i was having too much fun. So went to the assembly came back done some necklaces with the kindys and then the teachers had a lunch break and left me and the vice principal in charge. The Vice principal asked after i finish the child care course would i consider doing the teachers aide course, and i said no as i love just being a mum that comes to the school not be a teacher, and i really want to work more with babies/toddlers..

Left the school at 1 came home done some washing, and then headed back to the school and got the kids..

After school we headed to the Docs, and got the script to have our Flu shots.. So he asked how i was doing, after last week, and i said to him i am feeling 100 % better and ready to have my needle..

So he got the Nurse, and i had to go first as mums are to be brave and strong they say, and i reckon if all needles were like that, i have one every day.. Chloe and Caitlyn wouldnt relax, and chloe goes in a crying frenzy afterwards, but she gets over it very Quick..

Mick and i always buy KFC for the kids afterwards as a reward, and makes them happy as mick isnt meant to have it..

So another flu shot being and gone for a year, and hope we all get through winter and not get sick at all, as the doc said some can be like that, and some cant, but you dont get it as bad..

Today woke up feeling good. so got the kids ready and took them to school.. I then headed to the creche where i was met by the others... We then headed to the local students works building where there they have disabled people that have a work shop that make the best furniture and has a cafe where they have scrumptious food and drinks. So we were treated to a drink, and had some great convos. After that we walked back to the creche, where we made wedges for lunch and had salad...

We also made fairy cakes, and done some craft work..

At 1pm me and a couple other mums had to head to the school as our kids had their cross country today.. All mine done well, and will be representing their school in the inter primary school carnival in a couple weeks..

Came home and was treated to a nice tea of silverside and veggies cooked by mick..

So feeling better then i have for ages..

This morning when i woke my nose was running like a tap that you couldnt turn off.. so i was thinking great, i have my party this arvo.. so had a shower and did the gross thing the doc told me to do and blow my nose as hard as i could to all clear, and it worked..

So went to the shops and got some cakes and bikkies for my party.. Came home and mick got the kids ready and he headed to the local market with his mum, sister and her kids... I stayed home and cleaned the house a little and got ready for kelly( sinstress) party.

So at 1.30 kelly arrived and then dannielle( she is my gf who recently joined this morning, and her minti name is danni28- so please make her feel at home here) so then couple of my other guests arrived.. Some didnt show , and will find out during the week why that happened..

But the good news is that we raised $ 200 and $ 20 kicks starts the fundraising for the star light foundation..  so was a great party and i havnt ordered for me yet, as the top i liked was too small...

After the party i finally got to cook my long awaited home made lasagne and was so yummy..  so yay im feeling a lot better...

still be taken my full course of my tablets... and hope that its all good for me to have my flu shot wednesday..

Today after a week feeling lethargic, headachy, sore throat, breathlessness, etc.. i woke up and coughed up Blood...So mick called the docs, and got me in at Lunch time.. got there and was  real early, and had to wait a hour.. So $ 60 later, and will get $ 32 back from medicare, he tells me i have a Viral infection, and that my gums are a bit swollen as well.. so he suggested to take some Vitamin C tabs, and also some multi Vitamins.. He also gave me a script for keflor...

So going to feel like a walking chemist for the next 10 days,. but hoping to feel better by wednesday as me and the kids are booked in for our flu shots..

Caitlyn came with me and she was great.. Came home and said to mick i was feeling exhausted and went to bed for 3 hours..

Hope i feel better in the morning as i have a housefull tomorrow arvo for sinstress party,..

Hope who ever has what i have we can all kick it soon..

This morning i pushed myself to get the kids ready for school, as we had walk to school safely day today.. So at 8:00 we left home to meet the principal and other students and teachers at the walk to school area, which is a 15 minute drive from my house, and i was naughty and done it in 10 minutes.. So we arrived and arranged for all the kids to follow in a bus line.. As we were walking down one of the little girls started to cry and i said to her brother whats wrong with her, and he said she missed her mummy, so i comforted and she held my hand all the way as she is my gf daughter.. We then reached the corner where my mil, sil and niece and nephew live and caitlyn yelled out to my mil, nephew and niece to hurry up as she saw them come out of their drive way.. The scary part was that my nephew ran towards us, and the road we were near is busy, so i screamed at him to stop and get back to nan, and he ran right out in front of a car,well i dropped the little girls hand and got the car to stop before she hit greame.. I dont know who was more shook up, and mikayla my niece had a go at me for making greame cry, as he got growled at by his nan, but as i said to them all i was scared and didnt mean to make him cry, and he needs to be more careful on that road. So the principal settled everyone down and we contuied on our way to school and met a  couple teachers on the way.. Once we arrived we had a group pic done and then got a sticker and banana each hehe.

Chloe, my mil and nephew and i had to walk back to where we met everyone as it was near chloes creche.. by the time i got there i was sweating so much .

I then dropped chloe off and headed to the shops.. I decided to go shopping for me today and brought myself a pair of gym leggings and then headed to the bottle shop and brought a bottle of scotch..

Came home and was feeling exhausted and went back to bed. At lunch time i had the worse headache, and mick gave me a magic pill, cause it knocked my headache out and i slept for 2 hours and bounced out of bed and done the dishes and swept the floors..

So tonight when the kids have gone to bed i will be having a few drinks and hopefully tomorrow i feel 100% so i can do my house..

On sunday i am having a clothes and jewellary party for sinstress  to raise money for the star light foundation..

I have decided to blog back here..

Well i have being busy as usual... Tafe has kept me very busy, and today was the first day that i had a sick day off..

So also had a student free day off on monday and so took the girls to the creche with me.. All the other students from tafe was there, and adored my girls..

Mick and brodie are preparing to get ready to get into Go karts... Brodie is also doing well at soccer, hasnt won no games, but having fun...

i am sick with the flu, and have had it for nearly a week now, have being resting heaps, and also done the vicks on the feet and helped heaps..

Congrats to all that went gold today.and angieh all the best with your future plans, we are going to miss your support around here.. congrats to izzy for her new position..
