wOOhOO!!!

OMG OMG OMG! I am excited, extatic, overwhelmed, blown away and just jumping around like a lunatic!!!!

If you didn't know, for the last 12 months I have been studying full-time to get my Diploma of Justice Administration. There have been times where I thought I wasn't going to make it, or I wasn't enjoying it...BUT I perservered because I knew that I really wanted this, and wouldn't accept failure as an option.

So I thought I'd have a look online about 1/2hr ago to see if they had entered all of our results AND THEY HAD!

Here I was thinking yeah maybe one distinction and the rest credits...NO. TRY FOUR DISTINCTIONS AND ONE CREDIT!!!!Hotlinkable Free Smiley Face from Free Smileys

 AAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!! I was so excited I couldn't even stand still to tell my mum, then I rang one of my classmates who could hardly understand what I was saying because I was soooo blown away and rambling on like a fool!!!

I just had to tell someone and now I'm telling the WORLD!!!!! Well the Minti World anyway!!!

So now I have my graduation in august, and we all know what that means...outfit shopping and PARTY!!!!Hotlinkable Free Smiley Face from Free Smileys

If there's anyone who's thinking of studying and thinks they can't or thinks it will be too hard....stop right now, YOU CAN DO IT!

I am a single mum, I have a great support network of family and friends and minti friends that helped me get through this. And most of all I chose something I was really interested in and could get me into a job or jobs that I know I want to do.

Yep already arranged! Going out with the girls (and a few guys) in the city on saturday night for a few alcholic bevvys! So should be a good night all round, then another party in august after the graduation ceremony (again in the city!)

Still very excited and spinning round, I've been ringing and sms'ing and emailing everyone! My double-degree brother is very proud of his black sheep little sister too! He was really surprised when I told him I was going on to uni and what course I was going to do. We are like chalk and cheese and it's just nice to have him feel so happy for me.Took me a while to find my niche and finally underway to where I really want to be in life!

Thanks so much everyone. It's just a really good start to the week after the last crappy week I've had. Poor Grub still had A bit of sinus junk from 3 weeks ago and stopped eating last tuesday. That night he had a big case of night terrors, then wednesday night he came down with gastro ( sqirts and spurts!!), then I got it friday night, he kept having a vomit each night at about 10pm, and finally yesterday the doctor decided that the post nasal drip hadn't cleared up and finally gave him antibiotics! So the poor kid has gone from 18kg to 15.5kg ina week and has been bloody miserable. At least he got through to 6.30am this morning without a spew...although it was on my bed this time!!

But yay I'm so happy!
