I'm a single mum of an intelligent, very active 5yr old girl. Her dad left when she was quite young so it's been just us for quite some time and we do ok on our own. Our house is entirely populated with girls. We have 2 cats and a dog and it wouldn't be home without them.
I am fortunate to have my parents living locally and have a huge amount of support from them. My daughter loves having her grandparents so close by and they feel the same. I've lived here for most of my life apart from a short period in Melbourne for university.
I have a sister who lives in Melbourne with her husband and 3yr old daughter and I have a brother who also lives in Melbourne. He's to busy with his career to make time for family just yet. |
