i have figured it out, dont get me wrong i love my husbandbut i figured out yesterday(and joe admitted i'm right) his past was not good and neither of reggies parents taught him any thing, i taught the boy how to tie his shoes just last year.

he was given every toy a child could possibly want but put in his play with a gate, joet actuall worked so he wasnt there, wow i am just upset righgt now...

i would just again like to say thank you to all who have taken an interest!!

this is the greatest web site i have found in a while. i have,upon suggestion, changed MY thinking and open joey's eyes as well, WE are the adults so we cant throw the childish temper tantrums that aggravate us so.

 but i am very happy to say that since i have signed up here and had all these wonderful stories shared things have turned, of course not all the way because nothing happens over night but in changing MY thinking everything else seems to change for the better.

i opened up and apologized for my behavior in not handling things right but also explained that my feelings are hurt because he gets angry about things and it seems he takes it out on me!

i also told him we had to make this work because his dad and i are getting married and i'm gonna be around for a long time.we can talk about his mom whenever he wants to and i will try to be more understanding, i think it was good for him and i.

thank you to all of the advice and reminders for me, i am the grown up i know i have to handle myself that way!!

joey stayed home from school last just because i was at my wits end! he had a father son talk for a while in the bed room,reggie talked about missing his birth mother, which i know he does. he  told his father he is angry and i am the one thats here to catch it. i tried to explain to him i know he misses her but that it's not my fault she isn't around. it is her decision and she cant help it right now because she is sick.i have been his mom with my own two older kids and i have always been honest with them, i didnt want them to think i wasnt there because i didnt love them or that they had done anything wrong, i want reg to understand this about brenda.

things can get better jus t from other people, knowing i am not alone and being reminded of things i know but lose sight of in my hurt feelings
