Have you noticed the new links at the bottom of every Minti page?
If so, they are our new "Popular Topics" pages.
We decided to create these pages as an easy way to find relevant content on certain popular Minti topics. They hopefully are useful to new and existing Minti members.
Note: If you are looking for what topic to write on, maybe some of these topics will inspire you?!
altho this is a fantastic idea the pages are getting very long and I will keep putting a new entry in until someone looks at it THERE IS A LOT OF DOUBLE UPS if someone can condence them there would be a lot more room eg:- child birth/childbirth one and the same withand without spaces so what heading do I look at Oh! its not under that heading so I won't worry about looking any further sorry just trying to help
You're right the pages are getting long, however I figure they are not above anything too important that people need to scroll down to anyway (ie: just the 'footer links'), so it shouldn't bother too many people at all. Plus it will not effect page load times.
And yes there are also a bunch of double ups, there is a reason for this and it's not because I am a terrible speller! ;) The real reason is that people search in Google for these different spellings and also people write our content with the different spellings so the pages will give different results for essentially the sale topic.
Hope these explanations make sense and you can all forgive us
O.K. Ill forgive you I thought that it would affect the page getting longer and longer with the same thing in it. still good reading no matter where it is
Could you add miscarriage under pregnancy.......it would be helpful for ppl who have lost and aren't thinking very clearly and stillborn too? When your grieving it can be hard to find help, it would just make it easier.
Thanks!!! It will make it so much easier for those ppl who are grieving and looking for support and encouragement.
Cheers Raven
PS just off topic, have you thought about a world Minti day? Where Mintiers gather together in their capital city and have a get together!!!! Perhaps we could purchase a T shirt with the minti logo on it and if possible our own username! That way we could recognise each other.
Hi Clay have noticed that there is a few double ups for instints childbirth and child birth
waterbirth and water birth both with or without a space newborn baby and new born baby
These are just an example there is a few more but I'll let you go hunt maybe the list won't be so big and the catagories shorter for different headings just an obsevation
glad you like it - must admit I am surprised that existing members like it so much, i was thinking it would be more useful for new members or new visitors... but seems i may have been wrong on that assumption!
It can easily fit into all the categories. A lot of women continue to work during pregnancy, and there are heaps of questions about working with a newborn, child, toddler etc.
Arna - agree it applies to all categories, but I only want to add it to 1 category otherwise Google will possibly get angry and think we are link spamming that term.
I think the same as working parents as the grand parent does have an inportant roll in a childs upbringing with the mothers approval they do help by looking after when parent can't afford a carerer there is a lot of G/parents on here with a lot of experience and they could help with advise in this area
And there are the Grandparents (and I have even heard of a Great Grandparent) looking after there Grandchildren FULL time!!!! I mean being a parent is hard enough but these grandparents I really admire and look up to! Supermen/woman or what!
Good idea Vicky, I would like to see a grandparents page too, I am so guilty of chatting about my six grandchildren and I know there are several others too
