WOW!!!

We placed 2nd in the Q&A category just behind Yahoo! Answers in the Web 2.0 Awards. This is amazing stuff, especially as our Q&A section is just a small part of Minti.

What makes it even cooler is that Minti rated higher in 2 of the 5 sections... "usefulness", and "content quality". What I dont understand is that we beat them in more sections and also ended up with more stars overall... why didn't we get 1st position? (See image below)

That's awsome guy's.  It is odd about the 2nd and not 1st bit though, (is there anyone you can ask on the quiet?????), maybe they didn't like you in the swim suit division LOL.

Pats on the backs and hope you got babysitters, caught cabs and got drunk, in that order.

Why didn't minti win?
I Wonder, the only thing I can think is that the categories are weighted and the ones they scored higher had higher weight? IE usability probably had a large weight.  But good job Minti none the less!

Hi Clay, I was lucky enough to help judge the awards - FYI the 'ratings' were assigned by the award organizers when reviewing the nominations; while the placings were voted on by the judges.

So Minti had higher overall scores (if you added up) but you guys didn't lose because of the lower usability - it was, as you said, a result of human judgement!

Congrats nonetheless and good luck next year!
