could always move the info to the controversial issues group and let people hack it out there and not in the public eye.  Of course, would still need to behave like adults and not children on the playground.

i think we should discuss the issue that in the uk they are trying to ban breast feeding in public places!!!!!

i think that it compares it to smoking by trying to ban it in public as from the 1st july in the uk smoking is banned in public places i agree with that ban  but i think that to ban breast feeding in public places would be a tragedy... i would become house bound!!!!!!

I am glad that the question has been reinstated - although it does not appear to be live at the moment.
I did not believe that the entire question should be removed. Breastfeeding is not a topic that should require censorship.
Most of the comments on the question were of people giving their experiences and opinions in an appropriate manner. There was also some well researched information given as well. Only one or two comments were highly emotional or rude.
On the whole most Minti-ers displayed that they were able to discuss this highly controversial issue with common sense and dignity. Let us not let the actions of only one or two cloud the positive responses of so many others.
