We have just gone live with some BIG new Minti features

Yey these changes are fun. I am enjoying sending compliments and getting them too of course. will have to check out the gifts too. Have played with the address book feature and love the comment on the sad face!!

Very interesting! This is going to take a while to get used to - are you writing Advice on it? Can I ask what you are doing with the survey info? I tried only filling in the first survey with info I was compfortable with but it wouldnt let me get away with that, so I gave you the $ & postcode info, so I NEED to know. It's only coz I trust Minti - I dont normally give that stuff out!

As I posted on another thread the survey information is only for aggregated use - we want to be able to tell advertisers the "average age" and "average number of kids" amongst our membership.

None of the information will be used on an individual basis and never will it be shared on an individual basis with anyone outside Minti.

ps I was only guessing on the $ as I dont know the exchange rate - you may want to adjust that later so you get more accurate info.

OK I've tried to add to my address book but failed with this message appearing even though my address book is empty.

You have just tried to add contacts who already in your
minti address book. You cannot add duplicate contact details.

Still learning tho

I do agree with most on here I miss the groups in the orange bar, I used groups tab more than any other !!!!!!

the watchlist I only need once a day but groups I am in and out of all the time

Oh sorry Mony - we had to go with most popular choices and with limited space and found that groups was the least used... will consider replacing lounge with groups if there is broad support for it ... but not immediately

I definately use the Group tab more than Lounge, because your Homepage shows your lounge already.

The "groups" isn't completely lost though. It's on the left orange bar of a member's page.

Yeah that's true, but I think for those who do use the groups it's easier to use the orange bar at the top, instead of having to go to your profile then clicking on groups on the right.

I'm missing groups in the orange bar at the top!

Visit the member page of the person you want to compliment and look under their avatar image to see the "Give me a compliment" text.

We think it is a little broken at the moment (EDIT - Fixed it! ) but we will fix it up very very soon. note that you can only give one compliment type to each member once - but with 25,000 members and up to 10 different compliments that is a lot of complimenting
