Just got home from the game. Went with Codi again, he really enjoys the outing. I set him up so he watches the iPod Video shows like Scoobie Doo etc... He also watches bits of the game and yells out what other people yell out. Fortunately he hasn't picked up any of the swear words yet ;)

Anyway the game was amazing.

Here is a very quick run down...

1. Played Geelong the reigning premiers and also unbeaten this year.
2. Dockers 1 win 4 losses coming into this game.
3. Freo played with so much determination. They put so much pressure on the cats that Freo jumped to a big lead early on.
4. If it wasn't for the last 10 mins of the second qtr where Geelong kicked about 7 goals in a row, the Dockers would have won easily.
5. The crowd (including myself) was very very loud.
6. Pav hit the post 30 seconds left to play (approx)... to get us within 1 point.
7. Sandilands was amazing! Finally he was hitting the balls towards our goals, taking marks in the forward and back line, kicked a goal himself, 40+ hit outs, grabbed the ball regularly from the ruck and kicked it forward. Great game.
8. We lost by just 1 point.

Now, the next test is to be able to play with the same determination next week, and then the week following, and so on.

Very impressed with Freo tonight :)
