Can I just say that I have fought having one for years as we are on tank water, but we worked out last week that a dishwasher would actually use less water than me filling the sink several times (which is what takes for a family of 4 to keep on top of it)! So now we are watching out for a cheap, water friendly dishwasher! (and thank God my worst hated task will be gone!)
Have never owned a dishwasher. Would like to say that is what we have kids for but in my house it is actually more effort to get them to do it then it is to do it myself. Yesterday my son did them after a bit of arguing over who does what in the house and how many dishes were actually there and the cloth is now unusable and the sink was not washed and I had to send him back at least 3 times for forgotten things or unwiped benches. Would like one but wouldn't fit in my kitchen anyhow!
I think this is cool! I've been thinking for a while about starting a Poll Group here where people can poll others without requiring others to go into deep answers (in case the poll is somewhat personal). It would be cool if we can embed it here too for people to see the results as more people answer.
We have a dishwasher and use it all the time. we had a brandnew house and i refused to have one and lived without one fine but the house we are in now has 1 and i am like why didnt i have 1 sooner luv them.My husband would rather wash the dishes which i let him if he wishes but why would you if you have a dishwasher der males!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Clay, yes we own a dishwasher and use it daily,I did do the poll too.I realized how bad my old dishwasher worked (my kids)when I bought a new automatic one lol.
we got one when we got married. we asked everyone for money as we had been living together a year and had a lot of what we needed. what we didnt have was a washing machine and dishwasher. we ended up getting almost $3000 for our wedding and bought our washing machine, dishwasher and we had enough left for a dryer too. i would be lost without all 3. they get used everyday (even though my house is still a mess) Kids..........
Nope don't have one (only the kids to do the washing up!!) Would like one tho, just to stop the arguments. But then I suppose the arguments will come as to whose turn it is to load and unload.
I have one, came with the house. I didn't use it for the first few months cause I didn't know how as I'd never used one before cause I never had one before. My shrink of all people gave me instructions on how to use it over the phone and It's become a sanity saver for me.
It worked when I did it.........I voted yes though, just in case it isn't working. I don't use it all the time though, only with a big wash or if I just can't be bothered.
mine says its not available / yes i do use a dishwasher. glasses come up much cleaner.
its my saviour as i work.
i decieded to hand wash dishes couldnt find my gloves and ended up with right ring finger with allergic reaction.
i usually rinse out everything before its loaded in anywy
but my dishwasher and washing machine i tend to operate late at night. its just easier then i quickly put them away in morn. when i work day shift its much easier this way
i was actually saying to kenny today i am glade we dont have one and he agreed mind you he never does them . but i prefer to hand wash them . i went to your pole page too
