Shark repellents for surfing / diving etc...

Comment Published at 00:2700:272 comments2 comments59 Visits59 VisitsReport

We do (well we used to anyway) a lot of surfing, and were planning on creating or partnering with a shark repellent company. The products have progressed quite a bit in the last 4 yrs.

Here is an image of some...

The company's website is here regarding the products above.

In a couple months I think Rach and I will be back on our boards (when Codi is at Pre-K and Joshua is baby sat for a couple hrs). It looks like it may be time to buy a couple and have them installed in our boards...

You wont find me on the beach much at all, let alone in the water.  I stepped on a sea urchin once and not been the same since! lol.

Shark repellents sound good, but we have to remember they are the kings of the sea and we go into their world.  Sharks are instinctive creatures, highly intelligent and very curious.  90% of shark bites are out of curiosity, and the poor shark is left with this taste in his mouth he can't get rid of!  Us humans are yucky!

Hhhmmm, put our girls to work, they'd scare them all away!Falling Off Chair Laughing

Good luck with the business plans!  Hope it all works out.
