This sounds GREAT . . There are many newer members that do plenty but don't really get noticed. Here's hoping this newer system works and these great members are seen for all that they do . . . . As for the rankings - whilst they are great and do offer many a challenge there is far more to Minti than just rankings . . .

not sure it will necessarily benefit "new" members. as people still need to be active and their content popular.

remember that it is a leader board so older members in general have written more content and received more votes etc...

 Sounds interesting. Ranking is not what I'm here for, but any change of any system is exciting. 9 Months really? This is a special child then!!

wow 9 moths of planning. To be honestim not bothered abouut dropping ranks as its not what im here for besides it will be nice to see some of the newer members being recognised for asll their hard work :)

To be honest I tend to take no notice of the ranking system as it's not why I visit Minti, the support I receive from fellow members is much more important. I hope that people will be able to see past a drop in rank and appreciate what Minti is about.

This is great. It will certainly get a lot of members (who don't necesarilly write a lot / if any articles) recognized for their contribution to the Minti community.

I do hope the change doesn't upset anyone, as this is a change that affects everyone across the board.

 9 months planning, wow! If it's fairer across the board to all members, that can only be a good thing. ( especially for new members)

Ditto to what Amanda said, there are lot of new very active members, I hope that it tips in their favour and encourages them to keep participating.

It will be good for some of the newer members to get noticed.

if its a fairer system  why not/ bring it on , im sure you all in admin have put a lot of thought into it. so if it works well might as well have a change.
