A few major things went live the other day and also today...
- The new member algorithm just (minutes ago) went live.
- All members can now delete others' comments/posts (and edit or delete their own) in their Member Blog, their Member Lounge and groups that they are the Admin for.
- There are now restrictions on Minti mailing for new/low ranked members to fight spam.
- GMail address book upload has been fixed.
- Hotmail address book upload is still not working and has been removed as an option.
- Anonymous gifts no longer display the name of who they are from.
- We now display the year on blog posts when they are not in the current year. eg: This blog post never had 2006 on it before.
- Super-Admins can now reinstate articles.
- Super-Admins have more statistics
Hope you all enjoy.

Re: More Minti Upgrades
I'm think this is referring to Hours2004.
I'm a little miffed over the new ranking - I was looking around last night and noticed it and can't work it all out.
There are members who have contributed to this site and often and who are now ranked 500+ - compared to those who rarely write, lounge, blog and so on who are in the top 100.
I checked out and compared a few members and their articles + votes recieved and it seems more random than strategic. How can a member be more active, write more, recieve more votes than another - but then be slammed further back in the ranks? There are a few that this has happened too, so I'm not just looking at one particular person either...
I'm not bothered by it but I can understand why some members are - for many people minti is all they have - rankings is a way of saying 'well done - we appreciate your efforts'. At the moment the rankings are say - 'yeah, you've written adivce and done well - but we want more from you'
You could always just do away with rankings completely and just have shields. That way, you still acknowledge efforts and activity here but there is not focus on where you're at...if I'm making any sense at all
