Dear Clay
Thank you for allowing us to be involved with your Minti friends and for sharing the enthusiasm for the tike. It gives us such pleasure to hear the joy the tike has bought to children such as your son Codi.
Like yourself and Rachael, Paul and I are parents of active young boys, Jackson (4) and Mitchell (2) and operate 2 companies including Live Play Create which is the creator of our tike.
Live Play Create and Minti appear to have a common ethos as we are both here to support parents. We created Live Play Create for a number of reasons; We thought every child should learn to ride on a balance bike. Once you have seen them in action you can never doubt their practicality.
Both being professionals we saw the price a corporate career can have on a family. We also wanted a business where we could maximise our time with our kids, and that our kids can be a part of
We were saddened by the over commercial and superficial nature of children’s toys these days and wanted to our kids to enjoy the best in life, simply. We wanted any toys they used to allow them to be conscious of the world they will live in the future and to enable them to use their own creativity and endeavours to have fun.
As our first product the tike is something that kids can really love, nurture and value, pass onto their siblings and then onto future generations. We hope it will be like the leggo of the future, but with an adventurous persona.
We love the joy that owning a tike brings to our customers and know our customers not only appreciate the tike but the quality’s associated with it’s manufacture such as fair pay labour, plantation timber and our initiative to plant a tree for every tike sold. We are funding our own forest!
We have been overwhelmed by contact from the Minti community regarding our product and we would be delighted to meet your request for opening up the win a tike competition to Minti friends who are outside Australia.

While Live Play Create is currently only operating in Australia, we have appointed a wonderful distributor in New Zealand . A scary thought really, but both Paul and I have strong international business experience and as long as people love our products, and as long as we can keep funding our expansion, we will continue to grow the locations where our tike can be purchased.
For the time being, anyone from outside Australia who is interested in purchasing a tike for Christmas could contact us directly regarding shipping. I would love to see children learning to ride on a tike in every corner of the globe, perhaps the families on Minti will win a tike and help us achieve that goal.
