Rafferty's Garden - the best pre-made baby food

Comment Published at 22:0022:0012 comments12 comments587 Visits587 VisitsReport

I just had to blog about this stuff!

With our boys we always pureed our food for them and never gave them pre-made shop food (YUK... have you ever tried to eat that stuff yourself?).

Anyway, a couple months ago I saw a lady with this cool looking tube of food she was giving to her children. I told Rachel about it and she checked it out.

I can not say enough about it... it is all pure, no sugars and addatives etc, and exactly what we were feeding Joshua with, but it saves us hours and hours in the kitchen each week now. They are about $1.80 from memory, and they each last about 1-2 meals!

Check out all the flavours you can buy here.

This is pretty much what Joshua gets to eat these days.

Has anyone else discovered this food?

This would be a good blog for Best Bubs group too!  I haven't used them per se but a friend had them for her child when i was babysitting him.  They seemed really good and i liked the idea that you don't contaminate the food by putting the spoon into the jar all the time, just squeeze out what you need.

Re: Rafferty's Garden - the best pre-made baby food

We used to give Damian this food til we went to my in-laws and they gave him freshly cooked mash potatoes and meat to chew on now he will only eat home cooked meals.

This brand was actually created by a mother who was sick of trying to find healthy food for her kids in the shop so she just did wat she did at home and made it into a business. This is what attracted us to it was that yes it is fresh and just mashed all together like what we do at home.

These are great. I use them all the time. It is such a stuggle to find different things to make for Amy (11 months). The big thing that got me buying them was that they are completely natural, no sugar, no preservatives, no colours. They do taste really nice as well, very strange mixtures of food but once you taste them they actually go well together. Even the ones for older babies (10 months on) also taste very nice but one of them has a really stong garlic taste and Amy usually ends up with garlic breath. Hopefully other people catch on to these.

LOL......they are the best on the market if i can say so myself! i recommend them to anyone, myah doesnt eat much but she eats these really well, one of the only things she ate while she was sick or teething......

How cool is that. I never gave my children shop food either ( puree stuff ) as we cooked up the food ourselves at home just like you and rachel did and why couldn't they bring this out when my kids were younger. Looks like a fantastic product
