this may sound bad but i hope i win because my autistic son and his siblings have been asking for one i got my fingers crossed but good luck for everyone
awwwww hun, you don't need to feel bad, honestly :)
you tried hard to win it, because you knew how much it'd mean to myah..
and u were only doing the best for ur lil one :)
if i had won, i would've given it to alisha too..
we don't exactly have all the money in the world, so if we could save money on buying things for her, it would help us so much :)
so, don't feel bad hey..
feel proud that u did a good thing for ur baby !! :)
naww thanks thuy, i know myah will love it....she like anything she get get herself on to ride! she is a ruff nut!!! LOL....
thank u for ur lovely comment....i will be keeping it but if i could afford to go and buy one i would defantly give this to a preschool or a kiddies center of some sort.....
What would be cool is that if people won one to donate to some organisation of their choice... Surely if we can all afford to be online and all the technology that it entails we don't need the tikes.
If you win then you obviously have every right to give it away, but to suggest it would be cool for the winners to give them to someone else is not cool IMO. Just because people have a computer and internet connection doesn't mean they are not struggling.
agreed, if i win im so totally keeping it for jake, and yes we have internet but we struggle.. its our ONLY luxury, we dont smoke drink go out pay for sports etc.
I agree with Clay here. I'm online but I am far from being well off. My internet is paid using a scholarship from Uni. I'm on my own, I'm on a pension, at uni and also trying to buy my own home - money is not falling around my feet - not even close and if it is - I have bills that it goes straight too....
I also have friends who are on line, members of minti and who don't even have a connection at home. They use uni's or works connection, that or the public library.
Gone are the days when being on the internet meant that you were well off - these days it is, like MG said, a form of cheap entertainment for families. Most minti fams are in the same boat too...
Good luck to whoever wins the tike - keep it, enjoy it and have fun with it!!
Internet connections are getting cheaper all the time these days as there is much competition. At times the internet is a families form of entertainment as going out is often too expensive.
Tike winners enjoy your prize however you see fit to use it.
