I have decided to no longer blog about tech/business stuff in my Minti blog.
I want to keep my Minti blog pure to Minti

I was never bullied at school, but I saw others that were and I wish I had stepped in and stopped it.
I just saw this BBC news article about a $1M payout, and found it interesting.
So I thought I would let others know about it.

I never thought pfallerj would be knocked down to 2nd position in regards to the Minti member rankings.

But this is exactly what cookclan has done. cookclan (no relation to me at all by the way.... well as far as I know anyway) is now the top dog at Minti

Just realized that Omnidrive got first place in the Web 2.0 Awards for the Digital Storage and Remote Access category!

Congrats to Omnidrive, you guys rock.

WOW!!!

We placed 2nd in the Q&A category just behind Yahoo! Answers in the Web 2.0 Awards. This is amazing stuff, especially as our Q&A section is just a small part of Minti.

What makes it even cooler is that Minti rated higher in 2 of the 5 sections... "usefulness", and "content quality". What I dont understand is that we beat them in more sections and also ended up with more stars overall... why didn't we get 1st position? (See image below)

Mig33 just announced that it has raised USD$10M in Venture funding (official press release here).
Well done to the Mig33 team. They have been based in Perth for a while and are now relocating to California.

Mig33 is a mobile VOIP and IM solution. They have over 4 million customers and are growing very quickly.

I just found a cool place where you can create widgets for free so you can add them to your external blog or website.
Just go here.

For example you may want to create a widget that displays your latest Minti blog posts. To do this you just add your Minti blog RSS feed url (for example mine is http://www.minti.com/rss/member_blog/4/ ) and create the widget.
