We bought a Wii the other day... and wow - how cool!!!!!!!
I have been playing all day with it, Rachel beat me in a boxing match and we played tennis against each other.
I really think kids will love the Wii and parents should be happy they are using a Wii instead of an xBox or Sony Playstation as Wii players need to be active.

Good news Minti members.
A much loved Minti member Izzy has arrived home safely and her 2 twin girls are doing fine in hospital.

Because we are now in the US Codi doesn't have al his toys and equipment... that means good news for him. We have had to buy him new stuff!

Here is his new bed.. I am sooo jealous! Wish I had this when I was younger!
Now how can a child have a sleep issue at the moment when he has a bed so cool? Beats me...



And here is a play gym half built, and yes this photo is taken at night... we worked from about 5pm to 10pm to get it to this stage

Since we have got back from Japan Codi is having some sleeping issues... well 1 actually... he doesnt want to sleep alone.

The issue all started because for a week in Japan we stayed in the same room and that just made him soooo happy. Problem is now he wont fall asleep by himself... we have to comfort him to sleep, and then he wakes in the middle of the night panicing that we arent there... runs into our room crying

I tried the Supernanny technique a few nights ago, where you just keep returning him to his bed and closing the door. All I can say is "oh my god", after 135 times (no I am not kidding) of returning him to his bed and walking out of his room and closing his door I gave up.

I am going to also post this in Q&A.

By the way - I just bought a Wii... rachel is hoping it will get me fit (so am I)
I am looking forward to the boxing especially.

Hi Minti'ers,

Wow - what an interesting 48-72 hrs

I again took the unusual step of deleting another member about 10 minutes ago.

Unfortunately this member just couldn't help herself. She was even given a final warning less than 36 hrs ago.

Note: This member is the same member of about 9 months ago that was caught numerous times setting up multiple accounts and fraudulently voting up her own articles. Then and also at times since then she has been given at least 3-4 "final" warnings. Unfortunately her most recent activity is the hair that broke the camels back.

Please please please have the best interests of Minti in mind. I will continue to protect the vast majority of the Minti community and make sure that this site is a friendly and safe place for members.

just to clarify to everyone.. you can still use your Minti mail

The thing we we dont want you to do is... email a member intimidating them by asking them why they voted a certain way on an article etc. For starters... it is their business and not anyone elses, and also there is no way to tell exactly what someone voted anyway,(or even "if" they voted at all), so you would only be guessing.

Hi ya all,

Looks like the connection to Australia was down for about 30 mins today.
I couldnt access Minti for a while and I have friends in Australia who could, so our server was running but most of the world wasnt able to reach it

Just so you know, we will soon be hosting the primary server in the US, and the other one in Australia.So these issues will soon be history.

Reason? Unfortunately the member felt it necessary to try cause further trouble.

Note: I have sent an email to the member to email me if they feel they feel as though they have been treated unfairly.

Minti is for parents to help other parents. It is a safe place and I will continue to keep it safe. Please respect all members.

Just to let you know, I have deleted a members account.

I am sorry if there are some members on here who do not agree with my decision.

The is no one single reason or event that has led me to this decision, it is due to multiple reason, not least the fact that I have received many minti mails from good Minti members that no longer visit Minti due to this member's presence.

I feel as though the member was given more than enough final warnings and unfortunately was unable to sidestep controversy.

Also just on this, I know some of you will feel very sad about this. I urge you to please express your sadness at this event, but please keep in mind the best for Minti. I will be deleting posts/comments that are aimed at fueling this situation and are not in the best interests of Minti.
