Oh how I love to shop!!.  I've joined Minity to meet new people hopfully froma ll over the world and to hopefully again to give good advice to those who ask.  I enjoy reading have coffee with girls and giggling with my kids.  I used to ride horses beffore I had kids and would love to get back into that again.

I have a daughter Ella who is a girly girly who loves anything that is pink has gitter or a fairy it  But she also loves the out doors especially if it is helping her daddy in the shed doing what ever they are doing in there I have given up asking!  She loves to garden as well and has her own garden in the back yard.    She also loves to razz up her younger brother and "help" me around the house.  She started kinda this year and is aboultly loving it and has made friends with all the boys.

I need sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment Published at 01:2301:231 comments1 comments15 Visits15 VisitsReport

Hi there

Had a very lazy day today in the macdonald household.  It's cold and wet,  so we spent most of the day watching DVD's curled up on the couch and chatting.  Really nice as it was cold, Cameron was home, they have stopped the search and I was up most of the night with my children for one reason or another.  It gave me time between children crying and loads of washing to make a card a write a letter to my Aunt to, be read out at his funeral.

It made me feel a lot better as well as i had quite a good cry and laugh going though the photo' s and reliving a lot of great childhood memories.

My mum's flying to England tomorro for the funeral and my brother is flying out next Friday ( the funeral is not till the Monday after next) So my other brother and I will stay behind due to the children and finacal situation and help keep the two family buiness running why our parents are away.

I got to have a bath, mars bar and read THAT"S LIFE in the bath and god I feel fantasic.  And then we ordered  pizza for dinner what a great way to finish the day.

Have to go as earth hour starts soon and I have a date with a pack of uno cards some candles and a small alcholic drink plus an early night.

Have a great day every one Amy

A little sad today in the MacDonald Houshold

Comment Published at 21:2121:213 comments3 comments20 Visits20 VisitsReport

Little sad it the MacDonald household today.  I didn't write yesterday as I learnt that my dear Uncle Bob had died after a short battle with cancer in the U.K.  My dad flew over on Tuesday and arrived just in time to say G' day and see him past away.  He had waited for dad.  I can't just break to my kids at the moment as Ella loved Uncle Bob with the funny teeth (he had false teeth)  he and Angus had never meet outside the womb but he was over last when I was pregnant with Angus.  Every Sunday night they would call from mum's to talk to My Auntie and Uncle.  I never really appiriated it till now as I will not be able again.

It's even thougher as Cameron is still searching for the man lost on the mountain so I can turn to him at the moment.  So I'm feeling a bit down and a little helpless at the moment as I can't just jump on a plane and go to be there for my family.  Going to write a letter tonight so it can be read out at his funeral and only but happy memories in it as that all I can remeber of Uncle Bob

But despite all this my children are coping with me being a bit out of sorts.  Angus is still barking and coughing.  We  when to the doctors and it's just a virius.  Ella had a sleep over at a friends house last night which she loves doing and we all had hair trims this morning then went tothe park and gradma for lunch.

The rain has stopped its cold nad the sun is shining????  The dogs are loving it see photo of Harvey in the sun.

And the other is Angus with the lastest addition to his wardrobe an elmo jacket that I got off Ebay and I made the mistake of opening at the letter box with him and he had to put on then and there!!!

We had to light a fire last night and Cameron had to get some wood he had a little some one who is now on my lap helpng me type helping him and it was quite cute father and son moment.

So bye for now Amy

Just another Wendesday

Comment Published at 04:1704:170 comments0 comments8 Visits8 VisitsReport

Hiya all

Just another Wendesday in the sleepy town of Yarra Junction.  It is still raining and it's just so soothing to here on ther roof while lying in bed.  If you can here irt over the coughing of the sickies in the house!

It's been a great day here but the only thing the has really rattled my cage today ie:

Angus woke up with a cough this morning so me being a mum rang the doctor and they fitted me in for a appointment.  So it begins on the bus to my mothers work grab her car ( I don't have a car at the moment as it is sick and we are saving up to have it fixed and that will happen by the end of April as my husband just sold his bussiness yae!!)  I love my mum and her letting me borrow the car is great and I can never thank he enough when she let's me have it ( like being a teenager again)  So half a hour drive to the doctors.  Poor Gus had just shut his eyes and was nearly asleep when we pulled in.  Get out and in we troop.  Tell the receptionist we there and we sit down.  10mins ticks by 20 mins Angus is getting really foul and his big sister getting a little bored 30 mins.  So I go up and ask why and the receptioist answers. " Oh the doctor has been called away for delivery of a baby. ( Oh really I thought he was a post man!!) Sorry and we can't fit you in it's just to busy."  Oh my God ( sorry for cursing ) I just saw red I was so angry .  Lucky I had an appointment for myself for the next day so I made that a double.  And left now with not just a sick child but a tried, thristy, hungry and sick child.  But I did fell sorry a litlle for the receptionist as my daughter gave her the foulist look as we left it made me recoil !!

So on the way home we stopped at my best friends house for an afternoon snack and Angus had a sleep on the couch while we had a nagg over a coffee.  She's just come home from hoildays and her kids where still down there ( Phillip Island) with her parents and Ella Watched a DVD while cuddling sleeping Angus on the couch.  Really sweet I think she might have liked him a little today.  He he he.

And my husband while all of this was happening?  Walking around a mountian looking for a lost bush walker in the rain.  As part of the outstanding effort of the Upper Yarra SES ( State Emergency Service) Which he is duty officer.  But uffortaly no find for today. Back up there in the morning.

And now?  All is quite in the Macca household except for Angus soring like wombat.   Night guys here's for a normal quite day tommorro lol

Comment Published at 21:4121:412 comments2 comments23 Visits23 VisitsReport

Oh rain glourous rain!!!  Yes it rained in yarra junction last night and it was fanastic.  The road is not dusty any more and the tomartos will keep growing ( booo I'm so sick fo tomatos!!!)But as per usal inthe macca's house hold there is a down side to rain.

1 I had a whole washing line of washing that got an extra rinse

2 we had to dogs trying to break down the back door every time the was a rumble of thunder

3 Husband ( Cameron) has to sleep with the curtians open and "watch" natures show at 11.30 at night so that ment no early night for Amy.

4 I'm still sick!!!

Well now that out in the open.  We ( the kids and I) have a great day so far Cameron went back to work today.  (yea little dance)

Ella and I cleared out the back room/ computer room not that you couldn't really find the computer till now  and so that we can fit the bigger freezer that is arriving at some point this week.  lots of junk when it the bin yea feels so refreshing in here now.
